    What a beautiful car! How was the experience with the swapping station?

    • @GDrives_NL
      @GDrives_NL  6 месяцев назад +1

      It's certainly a nice car, and swapping the battery was easy. Navigating to the station and following the instructions was straightforward. The only disadvantage I experienced was having to remain in the car during the swap, as getting out stops the process. However, I understand that this will be fixed in an upcoming update.

      @GDrives_NL  6 месяцев назад +1

      That is a very nice development, but it does bring some challenges. What if the car is damaged during the process, will the insurance reimburse it? How big does the area need to be to place multiple swap stations? Nio will
      need to install multiple swap stations to shorten waiting times. In my video you already saw that an ET5 Touring had to wait for me. That's already 4 to 5 minutes per swap. With a few cars in front of you, it is better to hang your car at the charging station.

    • @GDrives_NL

      In comfort mode, the air suspension raises the car slightly, making bumps on the road barely noticeable. In sport mode, the car feels stable and reliable when taking corners at high speeds. Performance-wise, this car is excellent, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 to 4.5 seconds, which is more than enough! Do you already drive electric?

    These new Chinese electric car brands are famous for their advanced intelligent driving assistance systems in China. I would like to know if they can also maintain a relatively high level in your country? ? (I personally think that their automatic driving assistance in China is at least 80% of Tesla's level)

    • @GDrives_NL
      @GDrives_NL  6 месяцев назад

      I can only speak for the Netherlands. It is not yet legally possible to drive fully autonomously. You indicate that China is at 80%, in the Netherlands we are far below that. The level we are now at is slightly more than what we know from adaptive cruise control. Limited auto steering, staying between the lines, accelerate and brake. If you are not holding the steering wheel , you will receive a message within 10 seconds telling you to hold the steering wheel. If you don't do this, the system will cancel itself.

    • @Tim-turbo-o
      @Tim-turbo-o 6 месяцев назад

      @@GDrives_NL Yes, I also think it is too early to achieve 100% autonomous driving. Thanks for your introduction, I have a general understanding. Tesla in the United States and these new electric car manufacturers in China are now frantically developing and grabbing patents for autonomous driving technology in order to gain higher competitiveness in the next decade. I have to say that European car manufacturers seem to be struggling in this regard now, so much so that they have to cooperate with Chinese car manufacturers to obtain technical support. This does not seem to be good news for them. Thanks again.

    • @GDrives_NL
      @GDrives_NL  6 месяцев назад

      There are already rumors that the European Union will make it more difficult for Chinese brands to gain a foothold in Europe. This does not alter the fact that European brands need to become more innovative. Perhaps a technical collaboration between different brands? We will see..
