The "Switch 2" really needs an ARM (or equivalent performance to power efficiency ratio, like the core ultra series) processor. It's just perfect for that. Phones don't need that performance for playing "Fat Run 3D" or whatever. But a handheld console? 100% utilizes all of it.

I think it’s mainly because Nintendo still has a lot of games they want to release for the switch and it’s too profitable right now to need another console. Even though we desperately need a more powerful console.

I think old Ronnie decided on 14 as it is about the age when kids start high school. Being social is a much bigger part of high school than in elementary and middle school. Plus, high school is when kids begin to learn about the dangers of social media much more deeply which allows them a better understanding of the platforms and the dos and don'ts as well as general safety.
