Man, I did a speech for an assignment for a college course I'm taking that was very similar to this a few weeks ago. Timing is crazy, and good to see that it's not just me that see's a resurgence on the horizon

RTS is such an underrated genre. I think it’s really intimidating to people (myself included but that doesn’t stop me…usually) because of the high skill ceiling that is almost always there. It was a massive bummer when blizzard announced they weren’t going to be maintaining the game anymore. It was their last awesome game aside for Diablo 3. D4 was pretty good too but not as good imo.
