Thank you!!

@@pixxellie congratulations.
Halo
What about Metal Head on the 32X?
I don’t have a 32x yet but I want one!
Unfortunately the prices have also spiked. It is as expensive as surugaya if not more - and no tax refund. Although this store may have the best variety of non normal release kits
Yeah they have the best variety of resin kits I’ve ever seen, as well as sofubi kits
*Way to go* with *accomplishing your goal!* Looking forward to what you have in store for the channel 😃
Thank you!!! 😊
The Front Mission series, Omega Boost and Xenogears along side OG Armored Core are definitely must play games. Especially Xenogears. Holy crap is that such an amazing RPG that needs to be brought back. I liked it more than FFVII. IMO the best RPG. To this day I can't find a gane that I can get that immersed into.
Front mission rules!
@pixxellie Square did some amazing things back then. You may have tried it already, but I really recommend Xenogears if not.
@ yes I’ve played xenogears 1, but I never beat it! Need to replay it
I was't into these games but years ago Gundam Side Story 0079: Rise From the Ashes on dreamcast was a wow moment for me. Before that i played Steel batallion with the full controller add on xbox.
I’ve been meaning to pick up the Dreamcast gundam games!
@@pixxellie I believe there is only 2 in total on dreamcast. Could be wrong. The other one is an online game. Not sure it still plays online in japan.
OMG!!!! I just remembered Chrome Hounds!!!! So good!!!!!!!!
People are straight up sleeping on chrome hounds!
Do you ever see yourself moving back (other than just to visit)?
@@JP_is_me maybe when I retire!
They spelled it with a "V" lol.
lol whooops
Nice seeing b-daman still around
I’m sorry if this came out wrong but I felt like your videos inspire me to come living in Japan just for the Gunpla-mania😂
Nothing wrong about that! You should go for it!!!
L capcom
Now that you're back in the States, what will be your go to gunpla source? Local, or online?
Both!!
I put the decal girl print directly on the acrylic. I suspect this was their intention for fv500 prints because the extra space around the joystick allows the dust washer to slide over the acrylic without contacting the vinyl print thus avoiding damage to the vinyl.
Wherever, it's better to leave after a while and try to find a new place, so you can keep your experience always fresh. The world is big. 😺
I accidentally bumped into this place when I saw the advert in Ikebukuro station. But I totally missed the goods shop with all the Monster Hunter stuff. Which corner of the floor is that?
Welcome back stateside! Theres a few cool hobby and game shops down in the Norfolk area, where I used to live. If you ever make it up to Philly, come say hey!
Thank you!! Will do!
So cool, I definitely want to go there!
Amazing job on achieving Goal🎉 japan is awesome did u play phantasy star with ur friend
@@Zaiyou yes I did! I played lots of PSO!
I’ve not seen a single Resident Evil product in that whole damn place… But they have Sega machines by the dozens and Nintendo games ? What on earth ?…
they had resident evil merch in the cafe shop! quite a few pieces!
👍
Congrats on living the dream, however brief. 👍 Personally, I love visiting Japan but would never want to live there. The real life culture feels alienating, as evidenced by the number of lonely natives.
@@dariusq8894 thanks!!! It was a bit alienating at times. I can see that being challenging for some people
Wow! I love the Gamecube, though. As a sidenote, I did not know someone could invest so much time into a single game until seeing my uncle playing Phantasy Star Online. I guess he played almost every night for (what I judge to be) a good two years(?)
@@ZhuoAo I probably have a lifetime of 1500 hours in pso, and that’s low for some people. Pso fans go HARD!
Wait, what?! 👁👄👁 I wish I had this focused-person vibes you give off. hhhhh BTW, I suddenly remembered your channel after not having seen your videos for while. To my surprise, you'd posted one a few hours earlier explaining the reasons why you moved back to the US. Crazy how oblivious I am of the shifts Earth does while I'm distracted. I'm still waiting for the chance to watch it.
What a cool experience! I'll be in Japan this December. And I'll be in Shizuoka for most of the time; first time in Shizuoka, so I'm looking forward to it. Good luck with the next phase of your channel! I'm inspired to revive my channel😅
Shizuoka rules! Enjoy!
From the way you started with, "First off, let's talk about the good things," I was totally expecting you to segue into some horror story! Glad that wasn't the case. I'm happy to hear the channel will continue on as usual!
I don't talk here much, but I'm a little RUclipsr too! Much smaller than you! But I've really enjoyed these videos over the past few months. I share a similar dream... I'd love to move to Japan some day, maybe when I am much older... I'm only 32! But I feel like I belong there. Sometimes that call of the wild hits and I watch videos and just think... yeah, I need to live there. I feel like it's just... my place in the world. Your videos have been a little window into another world for me!
@@Jonnicom go for it! It’s always worth pursing your dreams!
welcome back jammie
Welcome back to the States Pixxellie, So is it possible to become a citizen of Japan? 7:36
Depends on your circumstances!
@pixxellie I wouldn't mind retiring and living the rest of my life their.
i'm super glad u got to experience Japan and happy to see you back in the states! i was excited as hell when u first started making content based on your experience over there, you found so much cool stuff and i will always be jealous of that :P
You're the best Ellie. Always love your videos and I'm excited to see the future of the channel.
@@Sano72592 thank you so much! ☺️❤️
I really enjoyed your game hunts, unfortunately i'm not into anime/figures and toys so I was picking and choosing your videos. You have a great presentation voice you sound a bit like a lady I knew in Arnold, MO.
@@atomiswave1971 thanks for watching! There will be more game hunting videos for sure!
Great video, enjoying all the others so far aswell too from japan. I miss it there so much too, hope we can make it back soon! Keep up the studying and great work! Kind regards :) 🎌
Thank you!!
I randomly found your channel while searching for store tours a couple of months ago. We have many of the same interests, so it has been a pleasure to accompany a bit of the journey. I'm visiting Japan early next year for the first time, albeit (for now) only for a month, and I can't wait! I'm counting the days, hah.
@@raphaelcarbinatto nice! Hope you have an amazing time. Thanks for watching ☺️
1:42-1:47 this killed me so real for this nice overview on your experience.
@@Sativa989 thank you!
Wow. Paying for two apartments? You must have been able to save up quite a lot. I've enjoyed watching your shopping videos. You've inspired me to do more shopping videos as I used to make such videos more frequently many years ago, but have not been in the mood to do so.
@@stevethefishdotnet yeah it took a longggg time to save up but it was worth it! Excited to see your shopping places. Take us to some obscure hobby shops!
welcome back! That's cool you were in Ikebukuro, I lived there for the majority of my time teaching in Japan (about 2 years). I miss it a lot and am overdue for a visit.
@@BurstError it’s a great neighborhood! Originally I wanted to live in shinjuku but with how crazy tourism has become in reallllly happy I picked a more low key spot to live in
Kudos to you for learning Japanese to play games. Japan will always have a place in my heart. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos 😊😊😊
@@chocolocojames213 thank you!!! It’s taken me nearly 10 years to get this far in Japanese but it’s been so worth it!
All the best miss! Japan is always great to visit but I've never imagined uprooting my life to live there. Maybe if I were younger. Still must have been a great experience
@@disgraced101 it certainly was! It gets harder as you get older, I totally understand!

Japan will always be that place! I went last September for two weeks and as Gunpla and retrogaming enthusiast i have to say that your videos helped me alot finding some cool stores! Thank you! :)
@@AstrayZack I’m glad the videos helped!! Hope you got some cool stuff
Props on taking that leap... I'm heading back for a long term production in March... lived in Shimokitazawa when I was last there...
Nice! Hope you enjoy your stay! I've never been to Shimokitazawa.
@@pixxellie loved it because of my love of vintage vinyl and books... did find it interesting (depending on where you moved back to) that book off is now a thing stateside.
Was there a month ago, and other than the smoking in the basement, this place and the other location in Takadanobaba are incredible. Also recommend Hey Akihabara and the 6th floor of GIGO Tower 3 in Akiba for anybody looking for more retro arcade games in Tokyo.
100% agree! all 3 of those arcades are amazing!
I only got to spend a week in Japan (I can't wait to go back), but I hit up as many arcades and game stores as I could. Your video on Sega's Joypolis reminded me that I had that on my todo list but totally forgot to go since I was so busy with everything else. You have yourself a new subscriber!
@@JP_is_me thanks for the sub! I hope you get to check out joypolis one day!
What a cool spot. Great seeing the history of Capcom through this video.
Why is there virtually nobody though? Was it a private filming session?
I film my videos when stores open to avoid filming people
So, it's more like a bandai-nintendo-pokemon machines store, with a cute little capcom corner shop. Great video.
kind of! lol. Thanks for watching
excellent video!❤❤❤
Thank you for watching!!
