This place really shows off how massive Bandai-Namco is. I find that a lot of western fans often underestimate the size of the company and how many things they are involved in. I would also spend most of my time in that back section with all the vintage anime stuff. I love seeing old, obscure franchises like Vifam, Brain Powerd and L-Gaim represented.
i remember finding this place by random on our trip, we had gone to sunshine city to visit the Pokemon center and the one piece shop. I remember our gps taking us to a postal office parking lot since we had our rental and we felt lost so we left haha but we found the malls parking and woah was it huge downstairs. after finally making our way up to the stores and visiting the ones we wanted, we got hungry and explored the mall and found this shop! i remember being blow away by how huge and how much they had all tied in to the store. we ended up walking the store not even thinking about food till like an hour later lol we had steak at a steak house that i believe was on the same floor and area as this shop! man were we hungry after all that walking! i wholeheartedly miss japan and vividly remember every bit being there. I cant wait for the day i finally get to go back.
The quality of the video and the narration actually makes me feel like I've been there. As I'm now an older person, there isn't much there that I'm personally into, but thanks for giving us a tour with lots of detail. The old-school stuff would probably be the section I'd make a beeline to. This video also works well as unintentional ASMR, as it is relaxing to watch.
28:34 The orange juice is from code geass. Lelouch calls him orange man or something because his royal title is Orange. Its a meme that he grows oranges. The character actually resents being called orange.
I would love to go there if given another chance to run back Japan. Last April cherry blossoms with a family trip went to Tokyo and AKihabara and until now my fascination to anime is growing.
This is so cool! I have been in Japan for around the past 3 weeks, and I go back to Tokyo in about 2 days. I have not been here yet, But now I definitely have to check it out!
I wouldn’t even know where to begin. All those franchises in one big space. I’d be a kid in a candy store. I’d probably collect those cute SD Gundam candy toys and admire all those vintage items. I really want that SD Godzilla lol. Thank you for sharing your visit! I’m definitely going to try seeing this mega store next year.
Great video!! I saw some Saint Seiya and Sailor Moon stuff which were very cool, those 2 animes with Dragon Ball were really popular during the 90s here in México and Dragón Baĺl still is.
Where you saw all the exhibition stuff at the back (that you stumbled upon), there’s an exhibition behind the curtain inside another room, featuring original cels and other merch from Cowboy Bebop, Dirty Pair, Cyber GPX and a couple of others. It’s a separate charge but worth it. I went there in March, and as a cel collector, I loved it 😊
Really hoping we get something like this in California, I work at Bandai Namco in California and this is cool to see but Japan gets everything haha also Great Video!
Amazing! Thank you for this great coverage. Me and the fam are here in Japan right now til July 8 and will definitely try to stop by this store!!! How does it compare to the Tamashii Nations store in Akihabara? Leaving the Tokyo Disney Resort today for Kyoto (and Osaka, Hiroshima, Nara) then back to Tokyo for threeish days before heading back home to San Francisco. I’d love any tips. Gonna check out the Discord to.
The G.M.G. are a line of action figures. They are quite small for the prices they go for. The figures come with accessories. I think there was a set with a vehicle
When we went in there we were actually super confused by it as practically nothing is actually for sale it seems? It was more like a showroom. Maybe we just didn't understand it or how to purchase things, but every time we asked we were told " not for sale". Only things were a crud ton of gatcha games and some arcade ufo / crane games.
Just found out that the Game Xchange here in town have the largest amount of Gundam model kits. But still on the search for different kits. Any Gundam model kit magazines I can check out?😊 3:16 ?😊 3:06 😊😊
I don't think I will ever get into One Piece. There over 1,000 episodes! I already have a hard time committing to a 52 episode anime. (my favourite type of anime are single season 26 episode series or old school 6-8 episode OVAs)
nice place btw, are they selling digivice too?i hope you can give me informations about stores that selling digimon merchandise too.. thank you and have a nice day 🫡

Oh absolutely. They have soooo many properties. The only thing is I truly miss the old namco logo 🥲
@@pixxellieI so like the old logo better. The new logo is really bland
God, your voice is so lovely. I could listen to you talking or doing voice over for hours!

What a great layout of a store. You do such a thorough view through it and this seems like an absolute dream to visit.
Thank you! Yeah it’s a truly huge shop with so much to see and do!
That Aura Battler Dunbine diorama is amazingly crafted to eye popping eye candy perfection.
It's soooo cool! very inspiring build.
Fantastic Coverage. You were so lucky to get in there when it was so quiet . I was surprised to see other model brands besides Bandai .Thank You.
Thanks for watching!!! Yeah going super early is def the way to do it!

I wish I had known about this place! I went to the one in Yokohama when I went to visit the Moving Gundam.

That’s awesome!!! I think that exhibition might be gone now because they change them every few weeks
It’s possible. I think there’s a website about it you may want to check out.
Cowboy bebop vinyl will be 100x more expensive in the future tho
You’re probably right!

amazing store! when i went it was insanely busy. pro-tip: visit earlier in the day : )
Yes this is good advice! this video was filmed just a few minutes after the store opened!
Adding this to my list when I visit Japan.
Also, the orange stuff is from Code Geass Season 2.

the orange thing ( 28:30 ) is form Code Geass.

Code Geass is the best. Hopefully the new anime series will be good
crap, I just remembered that I had that first Gundam DX figure box at 25m24s... god knows where it ended up!
