Just wanted to share some tips and tricks for using suruga-ya.com to import retro games and model kits. This video is NOT sponsored, I just use the site a lot and people often ask me questions about it, so I thought making a video might help! :)

Being new to Gunpla but not scale modelling these are the kinds of tips i really need! Awesome
Glad it was helpful! :)
Good video to start my day. Thanks jammy.
Thanks wavvy!
It's also perfect for ordering new runners if you absolutely have to. Online warehouse proxies like Zenmarket can act as the middle man for you.
Never heard of zen market, I will check it out. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the great video! I'm definitely going to be using this to see if I can find a Kshatriya Repaired.
Godspeed my friend! That’s a really rad kit!
Thanks for the tips!! Those free shipping weekends have been destroying my wallet lol
You and me both lol
Thanks for the video. What kind of condition is a used model kit? Is it partial or already built?
my experience they are always sealed and unbuilt
@@pixxellie thanks!
Thanks for this video.
I have been wanting to get some vintage anime cassettes (definitely the Macross DYRL soundtrack) and I think this could be my solution.
Thanks for watching! They def have a lot of vinyl.
5:05 A lot of the time the Japanese spelling can be found towards the bottom of the page in the Notes section above References. Great video will probably give it a go.
Thanks! Hope you get something cool!
Great video, any tips on buying and importing bags of gatchapon?
Thank you! I’m pretty sure you can get gatcha on both surugaya and eBay
Thanks for the great video :)
You’re very welcome!!! ☺️
Oh no.... my finances....
Jokes aside Surugaya is probably the place where I found the most treasure.
I'm sorry! lol 😄
Awesome site, thanks for the video... RIP my credit card
thanks for watching!! :)
I ordered on one of these sales, and it's generally good, but be careful, because customs still screw you over depending on how expensive it is.
I ordered an MG special coating sazabi, and because it was over €150 it was subject to paid inspection and horribly handled and crumpled when it arrived. Luckily all the pieces were intact, but still, be aware of your own country's customs procedures, in Spain they're notorious for being expensive and unreliable.
hmm maybe it's different in the US. I have definitely ordered packages of $200+ USD and had no issues!
Thank-#Y-💎-#U, Jam! 😎👍
Thanks for watching! :)
a dangerous video for my wallet
Be careful! lol
checked to see if they had a FA ZZ ver ka and unfortunately no. No biggie, nice to know there's another proxy site to buy kits straight from Japan if the need arises.
it's not actually a proxy site, it's just a shop. There's no middle man, but glad it was helpful!
I'm going to say thanks for making this video but also I'm going to do my best to pretend I never saw this because jeez this site is dangerous. First go a MG Zeta 1.0 for $87 CAD shipping included, great price, $5 a piece J-Pop CDs, records...I'll have to revisit this another time.
I'm so sorry for all the damage I have caused! my condolences!
but in all seriousness the have an awesome selection of music, games, model kits, and even apparel. It's hard to browse but theres so much treasure in there.
sigh... *pulls out wallet*
lol! It can’t be helped!
