Lunch at DINNER BY HESTON BLUMENTHAL. I know, it sounds weird. We got the Chef's Table. Located in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge, London, DBH draws on inspirations from very old English recipes and puts a modern, scientific, and, of course, a Heston twist on them. When dining here, you may choose your journey style or how the Servers interact with you, especially when it comes to...

L’ATELIER DE JOËL ROBUCHON | Las Vegas
@victorkaine, thank you for another good video! They are admittedly different, but would you prioritize Addison or Joel Robuchon in Vegas?
Thank you for watching. Going only by Taste, I prefer Joel Robuchon. Bold and lasting flavors and tastes at Joel Robuchon whereas Addison has a lot of depth but doesn't last as long. Another note, I went to Vespertine and it is my top choice for the LA area. Video coming soon!
@@victorkaine4919 Thank you for the response. I understand what you are getting at--I do tend to like big bold flavors. I will be in Vegas doing E so maybe Robuchon is worth doing... Maybe splitting hairs at this level of dining, but it seems like a question of 525 for Robuchon vs 375 for Addison (and throw in Vespertine at 395). I'll stand by for your vid on Vespertine. I just visited Kato (9/10 for me) and Providence (7.5/10).
Assuming you're in the LA area, I would go for Melisse or Vespertine (They're neck-and-neck in terms of flavors but Vespertine wins by a smidge). Please note that Vespertine has about 4 add-ons/substitutions which will add-up. Robuchon and Addison are definitely for very special occasions. If you will be in Vegas but don't want to go for Robuchon, I'd recommend the Atelier Robuchon restaurant next door. I was also able to do Kato, and I agree with you, 9/10. They're really striving for a second star.
Beware this place. I went there on Christmas Eve and got some SERIOUS food poisoning. The oysters and pearls are death warmed over. Avoid. Later found out they got a health inspection grade of C and used their legal team to have it all swept under the rug. Pay your rent, pay your mortgage. But don't go to this place - especially not for the holidays.
What a load of pretentious crap. Fill them up at the end with a huge cheeseboard so they don't go for Fish and Chips on the way home because their still starving. Been to places like that during my years in the Army and it's all crap. Stevie in Scotland.
That pigeon looked completely raw 😅
What a waste of time 😢
On my one and only visit I had the tasting menu dinner which was a great experience. I was surprised to see Eddie who I have watched countless times on RUclips talking about and smoking cigars! Sometimes things come to a natural conclusion and end, and I think Le Gavroche was at that time. It will never be forgotten.
hungry people at the trough,,,say no more
Can’t believe! This restaurant is a legend and a institution! For 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗳𝘀 like MARCO P .
My opinion on this level of dining is ... if you can afford it, and if you want to do it .... then do it. I bet it's amazing. I just know, from experience, that my appreciation of food and wine plateaus at a quarter of that price. If £400 was an insignificant sum of money, as it is for many people, then I would have no qualms about eating there. No matter how much I earned, my background will always mean that £400 is a significant amount of money, not to be spent on an evening meal. I'd rather give my 2 kids £150 each and go out for an amazing £100 meal.
did i understand correctly that the normal chefs tasting 9 course menu changes daily ?
How much did you pay for that amazing dinner? 😊
Thanks for taking the time to put these together! I love the stills at the end I am personally debating Melissa, Providence, possibly N/Naka or Vespertine. Of the three you went to, how would you rank them?
Thanks for watching. Rank-wise: Melisse, Providence, and then N/Naka. Regardless, they're all a guaranteed great time. I'll be going to Vespertine soon, so keep an eye out for a video on that.
@@victorkaine4919 Amazing -- thank you :)
My favorite NYC restaurant!
Another great video, thanks for sharing, Victor!
Omg i cant wait to try these
BUT , COME OUT AND ONE IS STILL HUNGRY ?
Oh my, that Cheese Cart🤩🤩🤩
More rubbish that I wouldn't feed to my cat
The usual pretentious rubbish - my cat would walk away from that
You just haven’t tasted the Soufflé Suissesse. As usual, someone that immediately reveals that they have never in their life tasted what they criticize. Just try it. Leave the cat at home, go to a Michelin Starred restaurant, you’ll have a great time, trust me!!!
Hah, I love the little conversation with the waiter about the wine. You were like, “you’re damn right I saw the price, I know what I’m doing!!!”😂 I gotta say tho, if you really love wine, I would suggest going the BYOB route. Corkage ain’t bad there (I’m going in August), and you can just buy your own better wine and avoid the crazy list markups. Thoughts for the future😉
never seen someone more terrified to order wine lol. Also, a simple windscreen on your microphone could do wonders for reducing background noise
The food did not look like it would taste good. The staff who presented each dish were very under-whelming and not what I would expect from such an expensive restaurant. Thank you for showing what it was like inside. I would probably not go to this restaurant for that price
Music is too loud at Mana. Superb food and service though.
A place I would very much like to visit❤️💐👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You may think that they are small portions but the food has such incredible depths of flavours and textures at L'Enclume. Its not cheap but its an incredible experience.
Great video, the focus is on the food, like being there ourselves.
Brilliantly done! I was there in november 23 and had the same menu. Unforgettable ! And Michel is such a great host!
Thanks for all the videos! Just subscribed; I love the informal approach you take to filming these. What has been your favourite UK fine dining experience so far? With your experience I'd love to hear (or read) some analysis of what you thought about the food. I'm selfishly interested as for our next cross England road trip, both L'Enclume and Mana are in the running (unfortunately our budgets won't stretch to both). Thanks again and please keep documenting your food adventures! I've really enjoyed watching.
I grew up in Chelsea and love this restaurant...how sad it has closed.
I remember when it first opened...how wonderful that is is still one of the best restaurants in the UK.
Thank you for the video. One of your friend has some stitching on the back vent of his suit jacket; you can tell him he can just cut that and remove the strings, it's a piece left over from shipping of the suit :)
sounds like these people are from ghetto, LOL
Terrible camera work! I wasn't able to watch it - made me feel ill. Shame.
The food looked amazing! Thanks for your video. I would have liked to hear about what you were drinking because they looked pretty good, too!
No bill ? How do we know how much it's going to cost to eat there. Music seemed far too loud in the restaurant. Could you hold a conversation ? Food looked great at a comfortable 1 star level.
@cumbriafoodie2259 I don't live in the UK, but in my experience it seems a lot of restaurants, especially in London, blast music to the point where it's impossible to have a conversation. I'm happy to read that I'm not the only one annoyed by that!
You do know there`s a few places where the sound drops out completely?
I guess to avoid copyright violation because of the songs in the background
Better than the first time?
Praise viktor Kane
End Song: Touch, Cigarettes After Sex
And how artistic the food is presented.
My husband lived down the street from here in the 1940’s. In fact his mom was invited for tea way before it was a restaurant. Beautiful. I’m wondering if you took any photos of the town. Thank you.
Your friends have some terrible hair.
Thanks for the video! The meal looked delicious!
You forget just how stupid all the face mask stuff was.
It’s not spago
Too much talking and too little food for 400$ per person.. and I believe your dinner might have been more since you got the wine as well
That is how I feed my chickens.
I realize the cost is irrelevant to quality but given that of truffles, you cannot see the dish! SPECTACULAR!

What was the price for the meal not including tip ?
