Lol, I watched your series (well done by the way) but it's useless now, I started the game vanilla and the first thing I see is a project to start, second thing is when I open the civics tree it's huge! Completely different now and in the research tree there are different things too. I guess you'll have to do a 2025 version.

I am having an issue with naval supremacy: I have naval supremacy (all green north of Germany) before I declare war on Sweden. As soon as I declare war on Sweden the naval supremacy and intel (was 100%) both go to zero and all the tiles go red. Any help would be much appreciated.

These tutorials are easily the most informative and interesting way to learn this complex game. I really was pretty much clueless as to the mechanics of the game in episode one....now I am almost ready to win the war! Fantastic series and deserves more subs.

did they change sth with the peace negotiations? because i only could take belgium, netherlands, denkmark, sweden, norway, part of the north of france, and the western part of poland. and i took uk as a puppy (without NI) but then my points were finished... but i even had 86% war participation. weird, maybe i made some kind of mistake from me 🤔 now the very east of poland is polish again 🥵 and the northest part of norway is norway again, because i didn't take this as well (had no points left)

i will leave a commant here again ... some things are different now for germany (focus trees and a bit harder to get the economy working). i played hoi4 2 years ago and needed a refresh so i watched this tutorial (not finished yet). your tutorial helped me a lot to get things going again, i told a friend "i am watching a 25h tutorial for hoi4 since about 1 or 2 weeks now" and he just replied "omg think about how many hours this guy spent for this tutorial, you just have to watch it" and he was right ofc - thanks for all the effort, i hope you are doing well! you didn't post a video since this tutorial so i hope you are okay 👍

Loved the pace of this one comparitively to the beginning! Felt really good to start piecing it all together, I'd do what I think I should and if it was majorly different from you I'd adjust but I started nailing most of it beforehand, so definitely learning from these videos! Really hope you eventually come back to this channel and continue or maybe make a series going over what the changes are now that there's so much DLC!

I finished the Spanish civil war much earlier than you (about 4-6 months) because Rommel went straight for Madrid after liberating Barcelona. So, that forced me to make some changes since I couldn't exactly copy what you were doing, but it did help me learn on my own as well! I am having an issue though like others where Romania and Hungry are not offering to join the alliance. Hungry eventually wants to join, but only if I sim to November and by then "The man with the Tache" is called a coward for not declaring war on Poland and we are given a bunch of negatives. I cannot get Romania to join at all though and I think it is because they are democratic in my game and they need 100% World Tension.

I did it, not only did i get to episode 25 but i did it twice, once to see what you did and once to follow along. Now to see if i can take on Russia.

Economically it seems to be harder now for Germany with the new update, what do you think about it? About 25% less economic growth now for Germany imo

Wanted to say how great this tutorial series is so far! For Ep 1 I would suggest potentially adding a pop-up comment on how people can swap to the same patch you were on at the time of recording for consistency sake of new players coming to this for years to come. So at first i was unsure about these videos due to the length but i tell you what, having watched this far i genuinely feel like i understand the mechanics at last! Im 1400 hours into EU4 but i just couldnt grasp this until now! Having seen your playlist i really think you should also do a lets play series on HOI4. Its clear you have a passion for the game and era and think it would be a great series especially if you explained your decision making and some of the more advanced mechanics (or DLCs). Not a tutorial style as such but offering tips along the way. I really think you have the audience for it and could carve a niche out for yourself. Well done on a great series so far (i know its finished but im workint my way through them 😂)

I've just tried to load the game I saved yesterday after watching the first part of these tutorials. I click on LOAD. I click on my saved game from yesterday. A watch appears for a few seconds. Nothing happens. What do I do next? Thanks, Jim

When playing in windowed mode, not full screen, does anybody know how to move the game window? On my 3440 x 1440 monitor the 2560 x 1440 game window opens in the middle of my screen and I would like it on the left or right. Thanks, Jim
