I always knew I would like this game but found it overwhelming to get into. You made it all so easy, comprehensive and I feel I can have fun on my own way! Thank you so much, you have no idea how I appreciate your tutorials. If you ever do a CrusaderKings3 one, I'll be the first to follow 😁
25:40 According to the wiki, you get a discount for taking the targeted state of the justification in the peace conference. So I guess it can be worth to justifiy against multiple states if you want to take control of more land after the war
Im glad you mentioned game divergence at the beginning of this video. My surface fleet has taken a hammering, both battleships in for repair, and one of my heavy cruisers too.
Yup. Many thanks for the save game. Though at the moment of writing, it's impossible to load your save game anymore (This save is from another version of the game and cannot be loaded). And with a nice oddity. In La Rochelle, there was an English brigade left over. My troops were on the east. The time I head there, the moment I started hostilities with them, they (by what I understand) gave back the western part of France to Vichy, cutting in two the land newly conquered.
Really appreciated the tutorial up to this point, I've been following along over the past three days. Unfortunately I started with all the DLC enabled (except Resistance) which did lead to some disparity but I was able to keep up none the less. Annoyingly what killed it was the naval invasion, as soon as I declared war naval supremacy would nose dive. I followed your recommendation and still no dice. So I put everything I had in the lower baltic including subs and I still had 30% naval supremacy. Upon exploring this it seems there are countless threads about how awful naval invading is, I don't know how it was so easy on your end. I spent months at full speed waiting for supremacy to tick over, so with no other option I experimented, I cheated in 22 battlecruisers, laid seamines and had all of my air force over the lower baltic. I had a naval supremacy of 43%... Friendly supremacy was 26000, enemy supremacy as 2000-5000 and I still couldn't cross because I apparently didn't have supremacy. Paradox strikes again, and I won't be able to continue because the save is outdated!
I had a weird one, after attacking Poland, England/France didn't declare war, after Poland capitulated I tried to justify attacking Denmark but it will take 540 days, until I discovered that Poland still existed, they had a tiny tiny area almost not visible in the east.😅
re multible claims when justifying a casus belie I "think" it has to with allies with significant contributions to the war effort in target region also making claims being able to get territory when peace treaty times comes around. I think, do not know for certain. Seems to make sense tho. loving the tutorials, best teaching how to i have ever seen, and i have watched alot lmao!!!
The amount of consideration you are showing to your audience is impressive and appreciated.
