I have been trying to make a double brim hat with my addi but the yarn becomes to tight when I put the last few stitches on the pins and the yarn snaps or I’m afraid I will break my machine. How do I put the stitches on the needles without creating so much yarn tension?

I can almost guarantee, any father or husband can figure out how to clamp the Sentro to the table. Im looking at the sentro for my daughter for christmas and with a mild amount of elbow grease and imagination, it can have its own base and separate clamping system. We live for this stuff ladies...give us the challenge!

I have watched a dozen or so videos so far. The placement of your cameras helps a TON! Thank you for that! I have seen some folks mark or paint the top of the machine right next to the white pin so that it is always visible when winding. No surprises when that needle / pin pops up. Another note, the darning needles that come with the machine seem to be fat enough that it becomes a bit of a trick to pick up the stitches during the cast off process. I wish that they had thought of that when designing this machine. Lots of dropped stitches when casting off…. Great video, awesome explanation !!

4V or lower, low power screwdriver (not a drill) - this info is VERY important. DO NOT USE A DRILL or anything stronger than 4V. There is no reason to make one full turn before picking up your stitches. Also, roll the tube upward toward the top that is much easier to do instead of the way you did it.

I have literally watched hundreds of videos on how to make these beanies. They always end up so complicated and they have extra steps that aren't needed. Your video was so straightforward! I absolutely LOVE the way you put the pompom on! I never thought to attach it like that! Thank you for the awesome video! Now I want to make even more beanies!
