Good Old Games is great, amazing source for older games like Ultima or my personal favourite, Diablo 1. Still no interests in the Eevee cards, silly hats and crystalisation effects were always gonna do them for me; however, I still have plenty of great ones from past sets in my collection. No they are legit trying to get you addicted to logging in. They are also trying to get you to give in and spend money to open more stuff early. If they were being benevolent, they would let packs stack up to at least 10 and have you log in every once and a while. Gholdengo Surfing card is 10/10. The burger promo card looks shit, probably AI due to it's appearance. #JustinForSeaking. P.S. I loved BDSP, as a long time fan, I never played DPP, so it was a fresh experience and very fun for me personally.

The laparas ex is the 1st I've gotten and it was about 20 packs in.

I do feel like pocket is going to be a lot like pokemon quest. I fee like they will stop adding to it and users will stop playing as more premium content outperforms anything you could ever find. It is super fun for now. I just absolutely hate that you are never directly buying packs. It feels so smarmy to a different level. Also a new pack ever 12 hours with a max of 2 stored!? nah. That's garbage. Something however I really like is when they give you decks you can try out. I know many use these so you are not needed to pull every card to make it useable. That is smart and feels helpful.

My deep cut HUGE FAVS of pokemon most don't love is Pelipper line(might be my favorite line of mons in the game. It is pure nostalgia. I had one on my team with a blazakin and no trainer could take me. It gives full coverage in 2 mons. AMAZING. Also it is SO MUCH TICKER than people think. It was the new gyrados I didn't know I needed), skrelp line, Aromatisse line(I know many like the preevolution only but I love them both. a great design and fun!), eelectross line(the 0 weaknesses blew me away! so cool! I like the 2 earlier evos more in design wise but the final form is super strong so I love it.), clampearl line but specifically to Gorebyss(I don't love huntail on it's own but when I get one I need the other too.), and hitmonchan(I HATED hitmonlee as a kid but I have grown to like it. I HATE HATE HATE hitmontop for being a part of the line, It will never be in my book. and tyrogue should ONLY be a hitmonchan baby form. They NEVER hould of fused the lines. They could of added such a cute hitmonlee baby. They need to fix this. UNBRANCH THIS LINE. I Also want them to remove syther from evolving into scissor. It never should of been an evo but a different stand alone mon!). Some I really like but never see much love for them by others is the muna line(I think they are a solid and cute line! I wish they got more love),DRAMPA!(It is so silly and cute! I love it!!! The dex entry that says it burns down bullies houses sent me! I am all for drampa!), and the gothetell line.

I did like goodra(the 2nd fav pseudo legendary next to dragonite), noibat(I don't love noivern as much as I love noibat but I do really love it too), and skrelp(of course skrelp is the cutie I adore more but dragalgea is a super interesting design that I really love. One of my favorite poison types. I just wish somehow it could be water still, but I love it having poison and dragon typing too. So idk) lines in xy. Sylveon is amazing though. It is super close to my fav eeveelution. Vaporeon and it are the tops and espeon and umbreon are the 2nd tiers. The gen 4 ones are dead last by a ways. Not for me. Sorry. Flareon is even above them.

I want to leave pocket BECAUSE you aren't buying packs, you are buying time. That is so freaking shady!!!! I hate how little it is set up. I had been liking the game but the way it is set up so predatory that I want to disconnect because it is super unsafe for consumers!

Don't care for the SIR eeveelutions, silly hats still be silly. I uninstalled Pocket recently, nice enough game but I didn't want the feeling of FOMO to creep in and it already has; would love to see an IRL version of the game. MaCHAMP.

Exciting times to be in the hobby.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I like Eeveeloutions.

I feel like the Eevee promo is only passively nice. It's fine. nothing really special or interesting about it. It feels like a pretty good artist just going through the motions to get there work done. I am just bored. It is a Pokémon sleep waiting screen. Not interesting enough for an intro screen.

INTERESTING The idea Amarys is Lenora's daughter because Lenora does have a husband and he has almost the exact same glasses as Amarys. That's so cute! Also Lenoras belt is similar to amarys's pocket watch(it's a basic shape tho).

The pokemon company didn't even need to add the pokeball and masterball reverses to 'Prismatic' to make it go absolutely crazy. This set will be so hard to get - well at least here in Australia. 151 was hard enough to get here.

Idk to me Umbreon means you are playing a 5 prize card deck... all you have to do is get to 5. It seems pretty easy to power it up, 1 crystal and a dark patch and you're good for an instant turn prize (possibly even on turn 2 if you go first). Not a lot of decks can deal with a 280 health card right away that can also do 160.

I was on vacation and spent all weekend playing Pokemon Pocket. A few hours in, I was like, "huh. I guess this is kind of fun."

17:35 fun fact: in this card, they did a callback to the Capsakid card from Obsidian Flames. It has 50hp and the same move, reckless charge, like Capsakid Obsidian Flames card did.

first time here. thanks for being down to earth with addressing different collecting habits. I came back to Pokemon with 151, and managed to collect Master set for around $900. I will try to do the same for this set. I get my money by selling some of Lego sealed sets from 10+ years ago. I figured it out lego takes too much space, and I would hate to open those sets now, so I'll just transform past investment into pokemon. I guess if I would need that 1k, 2k I can always sell it.
