Concordo, geralmente não sou fã da Sylvia (exceto pela sua Gisele) mas como Sally prefiro a primeira redublagem. Nessa versão acho sua paixão e melancolia tão fracas e "desbotadas" :( Na verdade toda a dublagem do 2012 tem esse problema

It is out there (thank God), Amazon Prime ordered a full dub for all 8 episodes. A few songs are on my channel as well, but they're not hard to find on YT. If you meant the pilot as well, IDK if we'll ever get an official dub, but Rossa Caputo (Charlie's VA) has been very active lately in trying to obtain the permission to do that 🤞

Da qualcuno che difende a spada tratta i doppiaggi originali di qualsiasi cosa... SÌ. Sicuramente è un documento del doppiaggio del tempo, ma ci sono alcune scelte troppo gravi per un classico di questa portata. Tra l'altro sia il direttore che i doppiatori hanno fatto degli ottimi lavori in altre occasioni, mentre qui tutto suona così scialbo, persino la Lattanzi! E il tutto non regge il confronto con il magnifico ridoppiaggio, assolutamente senza tempo

@@TOTO-5 La Lattanzi e tutti gli altri avrebbero dato sicuramente di più se diretti in un altro modo. Il direttore di doppiaggio si è attenuto molto all’originale in americano mantenendo però il “gusto o vezzo italiano” del doppiaggio fine anni 40 (voci acute e stridule delle doppiatrici donne, recitazione birignosa, trattamento di questi film come se fossero rivolti solo a bambini, ecc. ). La Maroni ne è un esempio perché ha una voce stridula ma si sente che cerca di riprodurre i suoni soffiati e sospirati di Ilene Woods, molto più di Fiorella Betti nel ridoppiaggio. Ecco perché in alcuni punti è quasi perfetta, in altri completamente sbagliata su Cenerentola. La Lattanzi era sottotono ma perché ha cercato di aderire il più possibile all’interpretazione vocale della Audley: sembra quasi di sentire la stessa persona recitare nelle due lingue. Nel doppiaggio 1967, come in tutti i doppiaggi di Panicali, i doppiatori italiani cercano di superare (con successo) le performance della loro controparte americana. C’è molta più creatività pur rispettando le direttive della Disney .. ecco perché sono diventati immortali perché sono sempre attuali

@@Riccardo89 Chissà perché proprio per il doppiaggio di questo film vennero fatte queste scelte, a differenza di quanto avvenne poi per altri classici dello stesso decennio (Alice nel paese delle meraviglie, Lilli e il vagabondo, La bella addormentata nel bosco). Ho letto che la signora Maroni è ancora viva, sarebbe molto interessante se si potesse risalire a lei in qualche modo e chiederle se ha qualche ricordo di questa lavorazione...anche perché credo sia ormai l'unica superstite del cast originale. Personalmente trovo che questa prima versione italiana - pur con tutti i suoi limiti - abbia un che di affascinante.

@@Riccardo89 C'è una discussione sul forum "Il Tempio di Odnarp" chiamata "Finti vecchi e finti giovani" in cui un utente di nome Antonio Viola (un doppiatore e direttore di doppiaggio, così recita la sua bio, quindi una persona dell'ambiente) dice che è ancora viva, che è nata nel 1930 e che ricorda l'annata perché gli è stata detta da Elio Pandolfi. Da qualche altra parte (non ricordo più la fonte) ho letto che è nata il 17 maggio del 1930, mentre non ho trovato nulla circa un'eventuale data di morte...Dunque, a quanto pare, è ancora in vita e il mese prossimo compirà 94 anni...!

No problem! Unless I'm mistaken the dub is believed to be done in the US by Italian-American singers (or even the English voice actors themselves), but as soon as I can check I'll let you know. I remember Disney expert Nunzianto Valoroso was interviewed regarding the resurfacing of this dub. Will get back to you soon :)

@@TOTO-5 Thank you! Right away when I heard this dubbing (as well as actually most of the old dubbing) I thought it sounded like the English actors were speaking Italian If they really did it that way it's really interesting I'm looking forward to it!

All right, I couldn't find the interview I mentioned, but I think I have the answers 😌 So, apparently the dub was made in 1935 when Walt Disney had it premiere in various European countries. Some articles report his presence at the Italian premiere and the existence of an Italian dubbing. After premiering, it was released in 1936 with a series of other Silly Symphonies. Now, the voices sound extremely similar to the ones in the English version (and there are some pronunciation mistakes which are common among foreign opera singers singing in Italian). I noticed that the Italian dub has a heavier vibrato, most likely a request to make it more "suitable" for Italian audiences. I'm convinced that they had the English cast do the foreign versions as well - I could only find the French version, and I noticed the same vocal similarities and non-native pronunciations - which was a common practice before voice acting became a thing in the late 1930s. Hope this helped (sorry if you didn't need this long as* reply lol) Also, if you look up "la dea della primavera" on YT there's a video with subtitles.
