I know I'm a bit late, but I'm wondering if the movie is set at a Christian camp, how come we never got to see like everyone praying before the morning meal, and see Will confused, or at the evening a small message so that it's not that intrusive. Other than the usual stuff that is a bit exaggerated, it was a good watch

The fact is that Godzilla didn't kill Kong because at the end of the fight he felt that Kong is not an alpha to him and he can't survive anymore , but on other side Kong's roar was indicating " Alright you won but I'm not going to bow down . And Godzilla has super cool durability that's why he survived all deadly attacks of mechag . So clearly we can say Godzilla won the fight But Kong's victory is not the simple victory his victory over mechag is The Rocky Victory cuz he didn't afraid of anything even he didn't afraid of his death .

Godzilla in this universe has a bit of lore behind him that makes it pretty much impossible for Kong to ever beat him (without some kind of weapon anyway). - Godzilla is 252 million + years old (was alive and killing monsters pre Permian-Triassic extinction event). - Godzilla survived/TANKED ground zero of the Permian-Triassic extinction event (the Asteroid smashed into his vicinity while he was killing a MUTO, and turned to face it when he heard its entry into the atmosphere) (Awakening Comic) - The late 1940 - early 1950s Bikini Atoll bombs "tests" were actually attempts to kill Godzilla (Godzilla 2014 - specifically the 1954 bomb) - In King of the Monsters, a nearly dead Godzilla tanked, point blank in the face, the Nuke planted by Serizawa. The reason this and the previous nuke feats are notable is because even though we all know Radiation only makes G stronger, Radiation is only a biproduct of the Nuke. G STILL ate the concussive force of the explosions, including a heavier modern nuke variant point blank when already near death, and this explosion had enough power to basically disintegrate the entire underwater temple/mountain Godzilla was hiding in. Kong, on the other hand: - Born in 1933, so was 40 during Skull Island and 88 in Godzilla vs Kong. He is over 200 MILLION YEARS _younger_ than Godzilla. - In the 1970s, 16+ years after the Bikini Atoll tests when Godzilla was tanking nukes, Kong was both heavily damaged by Napalm and had his hand sliced open by a Helicopter blade. Only 48 years have passed since then before he fought Godzilla. - Kong is not punching with the concussive force of a nuclear explosion. Period. Kong is extremely out of his league here. This is supposedly a debated topic, even though the director blatantly stated this, but Godzilla was heavily weakened (50% according to said director) because of how much energy he ejected to dig the hole to Hollow Earth, which is probably his strongest feat in the entire monsterverse considering the distance, and that it was big enough for Kong to literally climb through (meaning it would have ENVELOPED KONG'S ENTIRE BODY if it had hit him, probably vaporizing him). This weakened state was even more of an issue during his fight with Mecha Godzilla considering how much energy he used messing around with Kong after that, as well as an open wound in the side of his leg and probably a pretty decent headache. If I had to throw rudimentary numbers around, I think Mecha at full power would only be at about 70% of G's full power, and Kong would be somewhere in the 40% range. G was at around 40% power after the Hollow Earth Breath and fight with Kong, and Kong when revived and after fixing his shoulder brought his near full power back, so his original 40% would be about 35%, combined with G's 40% giving them a 5% lead over Mecha (75% G&K to 70% Mecha, all of these numbers are in comparison to G's 100% power) with the added benefit of two bodies to divide Mecha's focus even more. The axe became the game changer though since it could straight up cut Mecha's limbs off, unlike G where it got stuck in his leg instead (the blow to the head, I don't think ever made contact with Godzilla's head - I think the axe overloaded with so much absorbed breath on top of Kong's momentum bringing the axe closer to the power source, that there was a last second feedback explosion that sent Kong flying and Godzilla stumbling backwards. Consider it like a seriously miniature version of what would happen if Godzilla himself had a "meltdown" and exploded). Bottom line, Godzilla was looking at Kong as some kind of annoyance or hindrance. He was searching for the energy signature he sensed from Ghidorah and the construction of Mecha G, and sensed Kong in its place - a distraction. Kong facing G was more happenstance than anything, until Kong messed around with the Key Axe and drew G's attention to Hollow Earth. After that, this tough young blood (Kong) was trying to stand up to G, who had already asserted himself as the Dominant Kaiju in the previous film and was already preoccupied, and so G was basically putting him in his place. It's why he "laughed" when he actually hit Kong with the blast and knocked him out of the air, and it's also why G didn't straight up roast Kong with his breath at the end of the fight, instead roaring at him for dominance assertion. There was no malice like G has with the MUTOs or Ghidorah, Kong just needed to be taught a lesson. But then the Axe came into play, and after that massive feedback explosion from the overloaded axe coming at Godzillas face, Godzilla basically had enough of Kong's shit. There's history with that axe and this new monster on the scene poked that hornet's nest without realizing it entirely. It was basically Spiderman vs Hulk - Spiderman can swing around, dodge punches, jump on Hulk's back and punch him a few times, he can even do a web-boosted slingshot kick into Hulk's stomach with enough force to send Hulk flying through a few cars and into a building maybe. Hulk will still get up, and eventually grab Spidey and, well, Peter Parker, Miles, whoever the heck is wearing the suit and throwing around webs gets SMASHED. Doesn't matter how badass Spiderman is. It's Hulk. Doesn't matter how badass Kong is. It's Godzilla. Kong roaring back though, earned G's respect, cuz it was already over and Kong knew it, but showed some unbelievable spunk in the face of his own heart stopping and G's intimidating bad breath.

Godzilla won without question. Had Kong went 1 on 1 with MechaG WITHOUT Godzilla charging that Axe or the help from the Alcohol, Kong would have died 2 times. Kong used a fully charged Axe on Big G and it had 0 effect.

When I first heard the song at the beginning, first thing I thought of was The Big Bang Theory and Sheldon's deep throat singing, LOL! I wonder if we may...may...get even just a small cameo of Vader in this show and I also wonder if Saw Gerrera will be in this. I LOVE that the more shows we keep getting (animated and live-action), the more I can fill in the timeline and imagine all the multiple events happening in the universe at the same time on different planets. For example, I know this is a trailer reaction, but I love thinking about what is going on in Solo at the time the Obi-Wan Kenobi series is happening.
