I absolutely loved this movie. I saw it twice in 2 days and am dying to go back to see it a 3rd time. If there is any very, really minor nit-pick I have of the movie, is that of Flash Thompson. He seemed very unnecessary in the movie and I would not be surprised if most of his scenes were ultimately cut out. I mean, it seemed just glossed over then he went from bullying Peter to then learning he was Spider-Man to then seeming to desperately want to be a part of Peter's inner circle with Ned and M.J. Both in this movie and in the last movie, it seems like he had storylines that could've been explored more, but was just dropped. I actually wish Betty Bryant were in this movie more than Flash. I am guessing the title of his book was an intentional DC reference, right?
I would've loved to have seen Venom in the actual movie to complete the Sinister Six, but it would not have made sense since that Venom is now a protector. I did think it was sort of a waste having that post-credit scene with Eddie in the bar just to have him disappear. Though, it was a very nice touch to have a part of Venom get left behind. I do still wish Eddie could've stayed in that universe, though. But, it does leave exciting possibilities of what that new Venom will be in the MCU. I wonder if that MCU Venom will be more a hero or villain. Also, when Eddie and Venom return to their universe, I wonder if they will try to find that universe's Spider-Man. It was not really addressed if everyone returning to their universe will have the memory of what happened in this movie or it will be as if they never left. If it is like they never left, then their fate really is set in stone and they will still get killed by Spider-Man.
But, if they do go back with the memory of what happened, it would be fun to see what would happen once they returned to their own worlds and see if Venom and Eddie to try to track own their universe's Spider-Man. I can easily see Venom and Morbius taking place in the same universe as Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man. Personally, I LOVE Amazing Spider-Man and Andrew Garfield is my favorite Spider-Man and so, I would love to see him continue as Spider-Man, whether in those other Sony movies or in his own sequel. I never thought Amazing Spider-Man 2 was so bad that it could not have been made a lot better by just a few minor tweaks here and there to make a better, more consistent sequel. But, I digress. For me, I understood Electro and Green Goblin going on their anti-Spider-Man rampage in the movie, but less so for Sandman and Lizard, but especially Sandman. Why did Lizard even stay in the truck at all for as long as he did if he did not want cured and could've broken out of the truck anytime he wanted? Sandman was the one who helped Spidey stop Electro & was the one who talked Electro into calming down at Happy's apartment. But, then what was his motivation for attacking Spider-Man at the end?

That's not a dumb theory! In the animated show What If there IS an evil Dr Strange and it's a great episode! That same Dr. Strange will be featured in the sequel to Dr Strange, Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness! You might be right!
