For me, this show is my favorite and then WandaVision and then Loki. I like to think that part of the point of this show was that Clint needed Kate to help bring out that inner child in him, so to speak, and show him he can still have some fun being a hero after all these years and Kate needed Clint as a mentor to show her not everything is fun and games but there are real consequences and tragedy to deal with after. I think at the last minute when Maya fired the gun, Kingpin knocked it away. I think he does care for her and let her just leave and we will see the entire scene play out at the start of the first episode of Echo. For me, 1 of the scenes among many I deeply appreciated was the montage of them making the trick arrows. That also shows all the hard work Clint brought to the table as an Avenger. We just take for granted, Clint had an endless supply of arrows and just conveniently had the right one for the right occasion. But, that montage inserted a deep sense of reality that he must have to go through that on a constant basis because he never really knows when something is going to come up with The Avengers and when he might need any 1 or even all of those arrows. Just like many other things in life, there is a lot of prep work that needs to be done way in advance, much of which might also be boring and tedious work. I really want to see Yelena and Kate team up. Hailee Steinfeld and Florence Pugh had great acting chemistry. I wonder if Yelena may appear on the Echo series. I wanted to see at least 1 fight in this show between Yelena and Echo.
Yelena doesn’t want to hurt Kate at all, that’s the whole point lol. She put Kate on the wire and when she appeared in her apartment she even said I could’ve killed you. They’re building the next Hawkeye and Black Widow friendship for the future.
Good to see you guys back, I do feel though you may have missed that Yelena really likes Kate Bishop, which becomes a bit more obvious on rewatch, and that’s why she went easy on her in the elevator fight scene. More like an older sibling toying with the younger one who’s fighting their hardest in a play fight.
I think part of the reason they filmed him in the way they did was so they could continue shooting him like he's a monster, without vincent having to be massive. If you look at kingpin in DD the actor has a ton of mass, and he said he couldn't put on much extra weight because of his age.
Since Yelena was just snapped back I believe Spider-Man was still on Titan with Dr. Strange and the Guardians getting ready for their Endgame entrance.
Show order for me; Loki, Wanda vision, winter falcon and Hawkeye but all of them are awesome. I like the yelena/Kate dynamic. In black widow Yelena is the little sister and here she feels like the big sister to Kate
I've missed you guys' reactions. Happy Holidays. I actually believe that Bobbi Morse is still Mockingbird...it's just that Laura Barton was that title years before. Bobbi took over, in the 2000s...let's hope. I love A.O.S. too much to believe that Feige totally erased it.
Holy moly!! He IS that big! I suppose I was comparing him to joe he looked in Jurassic World and he just wasn’t that big. But then again Chris Pratt is a big guy too.
