Yeah, I like her a lot too but keep an eye on my White Grizzle cock that bird has scored 3-times out of 4-races...10th, 22nd, 7th.

Actually I had another bird that scored 9th also but could not score him....Our Combine has a rule that we can only score 3 birds with our regular bands but we can score a ACA banded bird (money bird) and a club special money band bird, so you can score up to 5 birds in a race (can only race 20 birds per race another rule). The 8th & 9th were ACA banded birds so I couldn't count them already had an ACA score 2nd place and the 14th was our club money band bird so I could count that one. By the way I lost my beautiful Pied bird about 10-days ago on a 30 mile training toss.

I think there about three of our members live out that way.....our members are scattered out all over the place, someone has to be on the short end and someone hast to be on the long end. I'm just lucky to be somewhere in the middle.

I sent your last two to this race and not home yet we'll hope for the best.

The way it was explain to me was: 200 miles is not anyone in our club but it is the longest in the Combine. So none of the races are actually are what they are called for our club.

@@cavenderloft yup that was us too but once we took a closer look we realized we no longer had anyone out that far anymore so we reduced the distances to a central location. Every race was essentially shortened by 30-40 miles which is in race time an hour of flight. Just helps with estimating race returns and like I said feeding. But if you’re aware of your distance then you can micro adjust your own birds/program.

I have all kinds of breeds of Racing Pigeons.

​@@cavenderloftFrankly, I mean the origins of pigeons, sir. In my country, we only know European breeds. I was surprised when I learned that even in America, bird races are held. I think it is a very wonderful thing, especially with the presence of green nature everywhere.

Kees Bosua; Jelle Jelima/Romario; Time Machine/Kittle; Dijkstra; Janssen/Hofken; Ludo Claessen; Constans Dynasty; Janseen/Houben, and other strains.

By our Combine or Club rules the antenna must be inside the loft. I didn't have a problem during Old bird races I don't know why it's a issue now.

@@cavenderloft .. That's ridiculous. Them codgers need to get with the times.. It's not 2008 anymore.. LOL Everybody has it on the outside nowadays.. Maybe you need to get rid of that wooden shelving or put the pad on top of the wood so it will scan better..

We still have one guy who uses the old fashion clock where you have to catch the bird pull off the rubber band thing in put it in the clock.. Lol

@@cavenderloft .. Are you kidding me? When I was flying with the crank up clocks if you didn't switch when the time came, you couldn't fly in the club or combine.. Those countermarking races were fun. You had to be there when the birds came in. Not like nowadays where you can be at the lake picnicking while your birds are clocking in.. It's made the sport lazy in my opinion.. LOL

You have wonderful breeds when you have the jos van lampt de klack breed and a famous bird 613. The dream of everyone who raises pigeons is to own one of his breed.

Thanks friend, I have some droppers but didn't train them and then I sold some them, I thought last year my birds trapped very well and I didn't need dropper so hoped this year would be the same....I was wrong.

As of right now it's still 8 birds missing, I will be checking on them all day today more should still come home.

I hope so too, I'll let you know if they do.

Yes Sir, Next race will also be a 100 miler and I will race the 17 birds that had to set out of this race (20 bird limit) your other bird will get to race then (pretty splash bird).

He has some really good birds...I still have three of his birds on my race team.

That could be possible but I first breed to fill all of my One Loft Races and then for my club races.

I don't think you will need to worry about the yellows much longer I only have two of them left on my race team Lol.

My main Loft is 20 x 12...The two front sections that I race out of is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, the back two sections are a little smaller. I prefer to have 35 birds or less in my main race section.

Over all the birds seem to be doing very well...I still have all four of your birds, one of yours lags behind sometimes but the others are always johnny on the spot...Just two more weeks to the first race...I can only race 20 birds at a time so I will try and pick the best birds for the first race and the rest will race the second race both are 100 miles races. PS: Your bird at "Apple Cup" today came in at 257 position on a 65 mile toss.
