@@cavenderloft she doesn't look like a winner in short races, but she did well during the last 2 races as a young bird. Great content! I'm always chearing for u on the sheets
I think those yearlings or 2022 birds need more races to get in the groove. For my first two 150 mile OB races, none of my last year's top YBs did well. My club ace bird came back the 22nd out of 25 in my team for the first race and 21st for the second race. On the other hand, the first two birds back yesterday were a 2023 bird that did not race the YB season and a 2022 bird that had never been raced before(ironically she is the mother of club ace pigeon😀). They did well for both club and combine, Anyway, I'm still figuring out a good system to race OB. Good luck for the rest of the season!
I believe your right about getting in the groove also I think my birds were a little to light under fed. Plus I'm using the worst system just all natural, I don't have the room to use a better system I need another loft just to race my old birds out of....Oh well.
You had champion bird your 1st year you raced? Those 100 mile races are just warm up races. Next week they'll do better. Birds look good, in good shape. That's a crazy story with the white. Hope yall enjoy the book.
That's not really even a race.. All the flyers are under 100 miles.. 70 miles is just a training toss. Birds should do that in about 1 hr and some change.
thats pretty amazing that the white hen got lost a month and still was able to score in the long races that season. are you doing anything special to race them old? ive never flown old birds, are they on eggs?
VERY NICE, 👍👍👍🥰
Thank you .
Nice 👍👍👍👍
Thanks
Good looking tram! They're just getting warmed up! Best of luck on the next one 👍
Thanks Buddy!
I'm pulling for the white hen! Making it home after being lost makes her my favorite 😊
She is a small and kinda and a special hen to me...I bow my head to her and she does the same then she will put her tail down and run up to me.
