@@cavenderloft it’s possible they carry the gene but they don’t express it. Or maybe the camera doesn’t do them justice. They do look like regular reds to me though.

@@cavenderloft .. Ah, ok gotcha.. Yeah, need to start pairing birds up on the 1st of December, especially when you are gonna send birds out to a few OLR's.. Nothing ever goes as planned in the breeding loft, that's for sure.. Early pairing will help in case it doesn't..

Five of those birds are for my racing team, I have more hatching tomorrow in my loft that are for the my team. I know I have things all messed up.
