Hi Paul, Train them when the are ranging well and never skimp on there feed, start from very short say 1 to 2 miles a few times then increase to 5 miles a few times. this is to give then confidence and experience of coming out the basket. Mine will get 7 of each 2 mile 5 mile 11 miles 20 miles then a 50 to 60 miler then back to 20 miles right up to the first race. one racing starts they get a 20 miler Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday. Most importantly enjoy the birds.

Have you thought about making the landing board an orange colour....apparently makes for more accurate landing, we are going to give it a go
