5 seconds in and she says it feels degrading purely because the shop has figured a simple way of keeping their clothes clean. That's messed up. Side thought- weird to think that if make up didn't exist, but was suddenly introduced to women as something they should buy purely for the sole purpose of making them look better than they do naturally, that would actually be degrading as it suggests they're not good enough as they are. Totally messed up mind set we have don't we.

I'm from Serbia. Here we have a lot of Chinese immigrants that own Chinese stores. I buy most of my underwear there. I'm a size XS or S in European stores but all of my Chinese underwear is marked as XXXXXXL 😅

I have covers for my face too when putting on my clothes at home ...and though ive accidentally gotten makeup on blouses ive tried on in stores i wouldnt even consider trying let alone buying a shirt that had makeup on it that wasnt mine...kinda icky...so...that makes perfect sense.

I sleep with a satin headscarf which on mornings when I get ready to go out, I use to cover my freshly done hair and face when I pull my hoody over my head. Keeps my hair and mascara intact. So, if my country introduced face covers in the fitting room I’d welcome it. It’s practical, saves time and money. Smart

This used to be what ladies did when trying on clothes in better dress shops. I’m 71 and still keep a scarf/handkerchief to cover my face when trying on things. To keep it in place, you put a little bit in your mouth! No lipstick or makeup stains!
