- Taiwan will pay tourists to visit in 2023!! This is amazing and if you haven't thought about visiting Taiwan, this is the year to do so! I'll show you some delicious local spots and things I do as a local Taiwanese every time I visit Taiwan: from all you can eat buffets, Nagomi japanese buffet the hottest spot lately, to visiting Yong Kang Street, eating Taiwanese beef noodle soup... Taiwan is a beautiful country that I hope you visit one day!
The Taiwan Tourism Bureau, announced on April 20th that a lucky draw for a $5,000NTD travel incentive will be launched on May 1st, 2023 for foreign travelers who enter the country on a foreign passport and stay between three days and 90 days, in an effort to boost tourism. To be eligible for the draw, tourists must register online at least one day in advance on the designated event webpage or corporate partner platform which will go live on May 1st. My wife and I have just visited Taiwan and got the $5000 NT at the airport. It was a really nice bonus and goes quite a long way towards transport and food and Taiwan. You get he money on a card you can use it in almost every shop and on the public transport systems. Thank you very much Taiwan it was a lovely little add-on

Almost hard for me to believe/remember, I spent a year in Taipei in '99-'00 ! I've been back ever other year since 2013.I'll return soon in Oct 2023. 🙂Taiwan is so friendly and nice (mostly: everyone has a bad day, once in a while). I have lived there and visited, I speak very little Chinese/Taiwanese/ROC .. but I try and pantomime .. and most people are cool and try to understand me (That's 1/2 the fun ! ) 😛
NICE PLACE.
thanks! i love taiwan!
Thanks for the information! I registered for the lucky draw. Will see what happens in a few days when I land in TPE. 🍀 Do you have any restaurant recommendations for solo travelers? I will visit night markets and breakfast places. 😋
I highly recommend checking out Ashley Kay's taiwan vlogs. She just posted her last one! She was in Taiwan for ~7 weeks with her sister and ate at a lot of budget friendly places. I'll be using her videos when I get to visit Taiwan again.
TAIWAN IS A FREE COUNTRY❤

Yes! Taiwan has an amazing public transport system!! I show more of it in my other Taiwan videos and here: www.tiktok.com/t/ZPR7haHET/
Will they run promotion till next year 2024? I got some holidays to visit Taiwain if they still run promotion.
Not sure but I’ll be checking!!
I am planning to come to Taiwan with multiple skills .

Is Japan part of China now ?
Where do we check it at the Taoyuan airport and where?
The latest I read was in May 2023: How to claim the prize- Scan the QR code at the dedicated lucky draw redemption area when arriving at one of these four airports, Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, Taipei Songshan Airport, Taichung International Airport, and Kaohsiung International Airport. Taiwanese people are also very nice/helpful so you can ask when you arrive and they'll help you!
@@felisaxomy inquiry is more about the exactly location INSIDE the airport and where exactly would the redemption area is located? ie. which floor? which booth/room number? next to etc...
I am trying to apply but I’m going in September?? Dosent apply for this month???
Yes where to apply for d lucky draw? I m going sept too

Aaaaaaaaaa
Aaaaaa indeed!!! Hope that's a good 'Aaaaaa' hahah
Are you married? I can't believe it
Taiwan girls love American 😂😂😂
He is Greek!... Greek-American
Taiwan looks boring… sorry! But I will go in December hopefully that would change my perception lol
Oh no lol… Taiwan is great and very underrated! I didn’t show any touristy things but hopefully when you go in Dec you’ll enjoy Taiwan!
NT$5000 is nothing more than pocket change. It's not going to draw any visitors. What would draw visitors is if they stop with the covid quarantine upon arrival bull.
We got 5000 NT on our trip to Taiwan recently. It actually goes quite a long way for food and transport. We really appreciated it but will go to Taiwan regardless. It’s an amazing destination. Lovely people lovely food lovely scenery great history, great culture
Better than $0!
