I don't know how tall it is I haven't measured it. It looks about 150mm taller than stock., so that would make it about 450mm. I ordered it from CF Moto Australia website.

That is in the mod plan. I need to get the 1st service done first

Thanks mate. Yes it's coming along. I'm fitting the parts as they arrive from CF Moto. I still have to order a few bits n pieces like bark busters and I'll fit a 15 tooth from gear cog to bring the rpm down a little. 5800rpm at 100kph is a tad too much for my liking.

Mine came in the kit when I bought the luggage racks. I'd contact CF Moto

If I'd just removed the 2 bolts at first it would have been easier. Instead of trying to only take out 1 bolt on the shock to get the job done. I could have also used another method to hold the bike up off the ground instead of using a ratchet strap to lift it.

How much longer do you have to wait? I spent about $1250 Aussie on extras and there's more to order yet and I still haven't received what I ordered about 8 weeks ago

Yes this screen is a lot larger than stock. It is the factory large screen. It works very well at protecting the ride from wind and will be a great addition for long faster rides. On more serious off road riding it may be better to keep the small screen. At least now I have the option depending on what typre of riding I'm planning to do.

@@OzADVRider yes im in Muswellbrook. Wow it's a small world hey. I'm in Nelson Bay this weekend while some.of the boys from work were riding to Nundle. Wish I could have gone too. But it would have put bike over the 1000km for 1st service. Not a deal breaker but I want to get the shitty breakin oil out of the engine asap. I only have about 180km to go

No I don't I didn't think to weigh them, but they are pretty light. I'd say maybe 3kg if that. I tried to find the weight but the CF Moto website doesn't say. There's next to no info on there for buyers.

@@FlatBrokeAdventures When stating the weight of the bike, the crash bars should be included, since other bike's weight do.

@@eskerinola5845 The bikes come without crash bars which are then either fitted by the dealer or sent to you and you fit them. CF Moto have only stated a dry weight of 175kg. My registration papers say it's tare weight is 185kg. I believe someone on RUclips had scales and weight his bike at 195 or 196kg. I've added luggage racks , upper crash bars and a taller screen with lower crash bars, bash plate, centre stand and a couple of other small things still to come. So mine might end up at 203kg when done.

​@@FlatBrokeAdventures Yours is the first time that I come across a real-world weight of the 450 MT, and it may demystify a lot of the BS that one can read. If this is the case, this bike's weight is compatible with other Chinese bikes which look different but may be very similar, like the Macbor 500 and Voge 525. Thank you.

These crash bars are actually quite light and didn't at much weight to the bike at all. I can't tell the difference with the on or off the bike. They are the to protect the fairings and tank when I fall off.

It was easy mate. I only had to install 1 bracket then it was 3 bolts, so 5 bolts in total.

I didn't think I'd have to remove the dog bone either but the bolt wouldn't come out. The dog bone need to be moved only about 3 or 4 mm. It was that close

@@FlatBrokeAdventures ahh, got it. The head of the bolt doesn't clear the dog bone profile? So at this stage, probably best to load the bike rather than lift the rear end? As soon as mine comes in, that what I'll see. Cheers

No it was to tall for me I was on tip toes when sitting on the bike. I get away with that on my road bike but I wont off road when I need a solid foot on the ground on uneven road

@@AlexK-nf8cq comfort is good. I did almost 300km last Thursday with no issues. The engine is good but is a little choppy when going from 0% throttle to a small % throttle. I believe you can adjust a lot of it out, which I haven't adjusted yet. Other than that I find it great

The gravel road at the start is just a link road about 400m long. Next is Wells Gully Rd

Thanks mate. Those roads were terrible, was all over the place. I must have had about 30 slips, unfortunately the camera only caught the big one where I had to put my foot down to stay upright. Being completely new to this riding I was crapping myself on about 50% of that road not knowing if I was going to crash my brand new bike which doesn't have any protection yet. The front and rear suspension are both fully adjustable. On my 1st ride I noticed the same thing but I haven't noticed it since. IT's still a bit firm so I'm going to look into softening it up a little. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Thanks mate I'm glad you like my channel. The suspension is fully adjustable. Jut make sure you know what you need to soften so you don't ruin the ride and don't know how to fix it. Cheers JIm

Exactly mate respect the environment you riding/driving in and you wont have any problems. But act like an idiot and you will ruin it for everyone. @@FlatBrokeAdventures Interestingly think on a dual sport, that’s much lighter than even the 185kgs of the 450MT, you might’ve been swept into that creek - there’s situations like that the little extra weight actually works in your favour.

@@RichardS-qh8mi Yes exactly I was originally looking at getting a DR650 which I think are 165 - 170kg wet. This bike is 175kg dry and about 195kg wet so you Im probably lucky to have the extra weight. Luckily I'm 110kg too

@@ktmhaka thanks mate. Yeah I was shitting myself. Bike was only about 200km old at the time. I got through thank god. The rest of that road wasn't much better. Lots of slick clay and mud at the top and down the other side.
