I keep a few bigger shipping boxes on hand to put on ground to lay on i have done backyard mechanics most of my life but try not to keep them in your house if possible.

I have a small wood (10 ac.) & I bought a small digger 3.5 ton . Put thumb on it. You cannot believe it is such a help, taking out wood, lifting etc. If you can afford one get it, it is like having an extra hand on stand by.
