Great job , Your husband would be so proud of you & I know he is looking down on you & giving you strength to do all of what you are doing , Take care & stay safe 💕. I Love Timber ❤
Good job, many professional carpenters make mistakes so, don't worry. Nobody should criticize you for what and how you are doing your thing. I have built many cabins in my lifetime and none of them are straight but, they are still standing and dry today, lol. Thanks for sharing.
*Awesome job completing all 4 walls. 🙂 But please tie your hair back when using the chainsaw & other tools... one gust of wind for your hair to get tangled up and you will be scalped.. Its all about safety on a worksite. 🙂nz*
I was a little late to loooong comment your last video but you can check it out. You make a house made of wood and it gona move little when it sets over time and the temp changes. I see that all from U.S using foam around the windows and doors. The reason we dont do that is that the spray foam expand and could push the window frame so you can not adjust if the doors and windows get hard to opens and also not breath anything. We use soft insulation type Rockwool and have adjustible screws when install the windows and doors so you can adjust them over time. See if you can find windows and door with pre drill holes ar else just drill holes for the special adjustible screws
This was my first look at your channel. I am so impressed what a woman is taking on in the middle of no where with very limited resources. Great job, keep up the hard work, ill keep watching.
Great job! 🏆 No worries, that wood will not go to waste. You can use it for shorter pieces underneath windows, in closets, or in building other projects. Looking forward to your next post. May God bless you. 🙏💝
awesome job!!! Please dont forget to put in cripples above your headers since theyre not tight against your top plate.... very proud of your accomplishment !! keep up the good work :)
You are amazing. I love your channel. I lost my only sister in 2020, and I understand working through grief. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I just found your channel and have subscribed. Stay safe.
Good morning. Moving right a long I see .glad you had some help for a day. And we all make measuring mistakes it happens. Don't beat yourself up. It's all learning experience at this point. And from watching the videos I see you doing a great job well you have a blessed day thanks for sharing.
Nice job. It is hard to tell so if you have already done it, my apologies. A double top plate that is staggered at the current joints will tie everything in nicely and will also help to spread out the load from your roof/floor joists.
You are doing an amazing job! It is amazing how much you got done in 4 days, in no time you will be moving in and preparing for winter. Stay safe and cheering for you
Your doing just fine. When putting in screws, try an impact drill instead of the regular drill if you have one. I used the drill for years until I got an impact drill. I love my impact drill, It acts much as a drill does until more torque is needed, then it acts like a impact driver. Try it. You might like it I certainly do. It's also a little lighter. I think I'll subscribe. You've got spirit!! Keep plugging at it. I'll keep watching 😊
Nice job on completing the rest of the walls all by your lonesome self, you only have one battery for your camera? You should have a back up or two, but anyway nice job, can't wait till you start on the loft. Larry
Very impressive. Your skills and determination are awesome. Looking forward to following your journey as you complete the cabin. Not that many could or would do what you’re doing in my opinion. Oh and you can crank and run a chainsaw as good as and probably better than most. Good luck and take care.
I'm very impressed on how determined and capable you are. I assume you had help from your friend to finish the walls in 4 days? There's no reason to be embarrassed by that. It's best to be open with us. We understand the heavy weight and safety concerns when dealing with the walls. Ummm, the battery died for 4 days breaches the trust relationship you want to develop over time with loyal viewers/ subscribers. You're doing great and are inspirational. I know they're expensive, but I think you'll regret not adding a few more small windows to your layout for light, cross ventilation and security. I'm looking forward to your next episode!
You are doing a great job, every makes an error from time to time. Move forward, i am sure you can use them later in in the build. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe, happy and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia
Great job and a very talented Woman. If I were you I would have me a 10mm strapped to my side on a holster being out there in the Wilderness by yourself. You never know when you might need it in case of bear or a mountain lion. Other than that, your project is coming along. Stay safe and vigilant.
Love it. But...I haven't seen the entire build yet however I noticed that your headers aren't against your top plate, rendering them useless. The gap needs to be filled solid or with cripples 16" OC. I can see your lack of experience but fear not. After this build you'll have learned lots. Have fun.😎
New sub here. I've built quite a few things and to see your perseverance is really unbelievable. Stay strong and safe. What part of Alaska. Not an exact just an area? Beautiful state.
Great to see someone building with REAL 2x4"s!!!
WE all learn by our mistakes!!! You're rockin' it Girl!!
Great job , Your husband would be so proud of you & I know he is looking down on you & giving you strength to do all of what you are doing , Take care & stay safe 💕. I Love Timber ❤

I am Really Impressed with your progress and mostly doing all the work alone.
Very Inspiring.
❤❤❤❤
Well done, you are doing amazing, you have accomplished so much all on your own, keep up the good work, and stay safe.

The timber will always come in useful elsewhere 👍
I had to subscribe!! Give you a lot of credit for all you've been thru, and what you're accomplishing. You're doing a great job!!
Great job!! Those crows are just getting some gravel. No worries.
Yes, knew you could figure a way. Good for you. 😃
Great job! 🏆
No worries, that wood will not go to waste. You can use it for shorter pieces underneath windows, in closets, or in building other projects.
Looking forward to your next post. May God bless you. 🙏💝
quick tip to calc half of a measuremeant just double over your tape put the end at the full width mark then look at the bend for the middle.
Awesome job well done ❤
5:33 those seem to be my choice of words when i build something too
NO STOPPING YOU!!! ROCK ON!!!!
Brilliant, looks great, yes tuned, and ready for the next video 😀
You are doing much better now, just determined by looking how fast to setup your work.
Very smart to build the walls minus the headers ...work smart not hard and save your back ...don't be like me and get all jacked up.
Real impressive , looks real good, keep up the good work.
Im watching your channel all the way from Sweden.
The land aint level or square so you are just following mother nature! Go Goddess!
Great job but you might want to place some noggins between the headers & the top plate to help carry the roof load.
Keep up the good work.
awesome job!!! Please dont forget to put in cripples above your headers since theyre not tight against your top plate.... very proud of your accomplishment !! keep up the good work :)
Nice to have you back, hope you’re doing fine 🙏 Great job with the walls !!!
Great job building your home so far
Great job and I'm sure it helped to have company help you with the first 3 wall's. But you are doing an awesome job 👏
Good job! Doubling up your top plate and staggering the cuts should really help strengthen that length of wall.
You are amazing. I love your channel. I lost my only sister in 2020, and I understand working through grief. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I just found your channel and have subscribed. Stay safe.
Watching with awe at your determination and grit, all the way from Down Under, aka Ipswich Queensland Australia. 🇦🇺🤗🙏💞👍👌✌️✝️🇺🇸

Just wow!!! What an inspiration you are.

Your headers need to touch the top plate to transfer the load from the roof to the wall properly.
