As an Italian girl living in Southern Italy, I really appreciate this video, but I just want to clarify two thing: 1. Italy is a very heterogeneous country, so, what you will see in Milan will be completely different from what you would find in Naples, for example. 2. Also, in Milan ((like in any other big city) it is relatively easy to find well-dressed people, because most people are economically well-off, but if you visit much more peripheral cities, you will find very normal people dressed in a very simple and almost anonymous way. For the rest, I am happy that my country and my culture are appreciated for this too.

The best two fashion brands in Italy are Loro Piana and Cucinelli, than there are some iconic brands in Italy which are cheaper (compared to Loro Piana and Cucinelli...) like Ferragamo (king of lady shoes), Borsalino (king of hats), Missoni (king of wears with lines), Scervino or Bottega Veneta. Than there are the most famous, but there is a "love and hate relationship" between these brands and italians. It's difficult that an italian gentlemen buys some clothes of Prada, D&G, Fendi, Gucci, Armani, Versace, maybe Valentino is the only one. If you see an italian gentlemen who's wearing a Gucci shirt this shirt is from the 80's. In Italy these brands (excluding Valentino) are sale to trappers and gypsies.

Hi, believe me or not but Franck Namani is or used to be the best one in cashmere. I have few sweaters for more than 20 years and they look like new, no pilling no nothing. Unfortunately it became so expensive ..

What is the cost per wear? That is the question. Yes, CPs are $300-500 brand new. White CPs specifically look even better once they have some scuffs and creases on them. Some people wear these 3-4 times per week for several years, That's a very low 'cost per wear'. $300 Jordans are NOT worth it. They do NOT look better after 10 wears, considerable decline after 20-30 wears. I have bought new CPs and used (Ebay). Ebay is awesome for gently used CPs.

Im a medium, normally go for large in tshirts to allow shrinkage. Just purchased an XL in Merz which should fit nicely after washing. Ive owned 2 different sunspel tshirts, both large, both continued to shrink until they didn’t fit after 2 seasons. ☹️wont be buying them again!
