I disagree with your presumption about the prof… did you not hear his convo with Robin’s character’s. The prof is an Aholewho is attracted to Will’s brilliance and thinks he is special not as a person but as an intellect. You can recognize that someone may be traumatize, but you clearly have no idea how it can manifest itself, you kept judging his behavior as though he was psychologically okay. Everything he did was a function of how hurt he was…

I don’t think it’s that dramatic or a twist….but “Fight Club” is pretty good.

Minnie Driver's magnificent performance gets overlooked, in my opinion. She will always be "Skylar" to me. This film had an elite level ensemble of actors. Casey Affleck was also very good in this, and I've come to love his acting over time😊

I really like how you get right into the reaction. Maybe a 30 second intro for future vids. Would like to see you not edit over too many iconic lines; especially for classics like Good Will Hunting. Although, I know copyright strikes are a bitch. Keep grinding my guy!

That scene about Seans wife farting in her sleep was completely ad-libbed by Robin Williams, that's why Matt Damon's laugh what's so authentic, he just lost it right there lol 😂

Loved watching you react to this. The dialog is so damn good. And no, Will didn't just need to hear "it's not your fault" and get a hug. He would never have been able to accept that if he hadn't already gone through those sessions with the Doc. He got challenged, he got 'seen' and he got appreciated as a human being, and that is what allowed him to trust it when he heard "it's not your fault.'?

You're just part of the 95% (just guessing) of everyone who watched this and were totally shocked that he was dead. I heard that the audience loudly gasped at the reveal. I wish I would have seen this in the theatre instead of later renting it but then I wouldn't have had the luxury of rewinding it to watch the reveal again. Enjoyed your reaction.

Damon and Affleck are just amazing for writing and acting this when they were so young! It tears my heart out even after all these years - just so well done!

Will: "This girl's perfect right now, I don't want to ruin that." Sean: "Maybe YOU'RE perfect right now, maybe you don't want to ruin THAT." That's really Will in a nutshell, and Sean nails it from almost the get go. That's one of my favorite scenes in this movie.

As a born and bred Bostonian I can attest there are some people here who talk JUST like this.

This was the first time out for Matt and Ben and they smashed it. They won the Oscar for best screenplay and both became stupidly famous!

If you don't ugly cry at least once during this movie, you have no soul.

I still can not believe that Matt and Ben wrote this screenplay while they were in their early 20s. Amazing dialog. ❤❤

Nobody is 'messing with the thermostat' - the temp in the room just drops when a Troubled/Restless Spirit enters. NOBODY connected the dots, dude! This was the Best kept Plot Twist Secret that Hollywood ever produced, and the cast/crew were sworn to secrecy to keep it. The Box Office numbers soared because people like me went back to see it again, dragging friends along each time to watch their reactions. That secret held up well, because 25 years later you were finally privy to it!

If it hasn’t been mentioned yet, Lee Fierro, who played the mother of Alex Kintner in Jaws, walked into a seafood restaurant and noticed on the menu that they sold an "Alex Kintner sandwich." She mentioned that she played his mother in Jaws. The owner ran out to meet her, and he was none other than Jeffrey Voorhees, who played her son. They had not seen each other since the original movie shoot. He owns The Wharf Pub in Edgartown, Massachusetts.

fun fact, the scene where hi son is mimicing him happened for real during a break so speilberg put it into the movie

if you take into account dreyfuss was playing his own age in jawss(25) hes had at least five years of studying sharks so he was confident when he went diving
