The irony of Bob complaining about Em talking about the same thing in numerous songs while repeatedly circling back and saying the same thing in his commentary about the song is comical 💀 idk how the irony is lost on him but that’s some S tier hypocrisy 😂
Beautiful Is one of the most beautiful songs ever to me
The Best in history Mr.Makaveli
Loved your reaction to "I love". What a powerful song
Best weekend ever, this is so peaceful and mindful
bro PLEASE react to blkswn by smino asap we need it

Use your brain
this is powerful music, man
27:40 "I like when an artist writes for themselves, I hope thats what he's doing" My Boy you may not have been aware who Kanye was at the time you did this reaction but everything he does is for himself. That's what makes Kanye such an introspective & innovative artist/producer. As I'm sure you're aware he is bi-polar and I would argue narcissistic but that's what makes Mr. West such a perfect artist. Because of those 2 things Kanye isn't afraid to say things others may think but wont say. Granted, often times times this is why he's viewed in such a negative light however for those of us who truly understand him can recognize that's what makes him such a special and unique artist. I still remember when Kanye went up and gave Beyonce a shout out when Taylor swift won her award over Beyonce at the grammy's years ago. The media was outraged and rightfully so... what he did was very disrespectful and all of us recognized that but Kanye. He's unconcerned with what others thing of him, he's impulsive & he's not afraid to share his opinion no matter how controversial it may be or how touchy the issue at hand is. This is why Kanye's music is so impactful on the evolution of not only hip hop but on music as a whole across all genres. He's willing to test the waters in ways others won't out of the fear of being hated and cancelled.
1:21:53 Remember, the word "woke" was invented by black people during or just before the civil rights movement. It has a pure, serious meaning that has been bastardized. Most white people like us never heard the term until it was already commandeered as a right wing talking point.
Bob i knew you’d love this! I never would have expected you to catch everything, i still catch meanings to many of his bars, but i wanted to say that there still are many to catch. Almost every line is a double entendre. It’s unbelievable. He says things so casually that already have meaning on the surface, but almost every line is a bar. Was devastated when Ka left us. But to my understanding, he did die peacefully and it was by surprise to his family. RIP Ka ❤
soooo glad
I know these don’t get the most views but I just wanted to show my immense appreciation for reacting to Ka. He’s my favorite artist and the rapper that inspired me to really examine lyrics and get lost in the sauce lmao
Video 130 asking bob to listen to MIKE - Burning desire
you gotta do orpheus vs the sirens. my personal favourite of his
I just know you would love The Black Parade by MCR
I can honestly say that these 3 reactions back to back are my Christmas present. Watching someone that has such an appreciation for hip-hop react and break down these albums just means so much to me (and I’m sure it means a lot to a lot of Ka’s fans. I can’t thank you enough, Bob 🙏🏽
Blessing us for the holidays that’s(beautiful)
My favourite KA album
Day 442 of waiting for Bob to review his favorite Death Grips album, "The Powers That B".
1:22:16 on the outro of A Martyr's Reward, he said "walls was paper thin, could hear the neighbors talk", he's used to sleeping around chaos
Not only that most walls are drywall and you can hear the next room
Why is everyone acting like old justice doesn't exist?!!!! That's EEEASILYY the best song on the album.
It was big in the underground rap scene in the early 2000s. They were aware that the culture was moving into a more materialistic direction and hated it. In 2000 Binary Star dropped 2 songs on the same album dissing commercialism: Indy 500 and Honest Expression. Personally i think rapping about the played out materialistic content screams out insecurity
bro could have atleast avoided saying holy s***
Bob, You have to check out Roc Marciano! A close friend of Ka’s. And I personally feel he is the greatest rapper of all time
Listen to rtj4 it’s their latest album and the one you will enjoy the most
Amazing reaction. Loved how much of the biblical references you managed ro catch on a first listen, really impressive ! I just love how Cain and Able are truly charactess in the album, described by various stories KA tells and parallels. How in these environments everythjng is twisted, their Sir Lancelot's were cutting up cocaine bricks, their monks (priests, spiritual leaders) were swearing vows of silence to the police... Everyone knows but nobody does anything about it kind of thing. It is just so powerful. Awesome stuff. Cant wait to watch the next reactions on KA :)!
ik you have reacted to x and juice in the past but could you do some more album reactions of theirs would love to hear your thoughts on albums like the party nver ends-juice wrld skins-xxxtentacion legends never die-juice wrld ect ect love the videos too man ❣
Probably my fav release from him, enjoyed the reaction.
you should absolutely listen to Krits "My Sub" playlist on a car ride. 6 tracks
please do "bo jackson" by boldy james, or "pray for paris" by westside gunn, or anything griselda related. i feel like you would really enjoy that type of sound.
Hope it's borrowed time when my time come. Cause all my time wasn't kind, son. RIP Ka ✊🏽
Pinata by freddie gibbs when?
this reaction makes me abundantly happy
🚬…
Can't wait for Orpheus tomorrow, it's been a while since I've revisited it myself. Also you talking about artists knowing they were making their last album reminded me of a tribe called quest. After phife dawg passed away while making Thank You 4 Your Service the rest of the group basically knew they were done after that. That album is still one of the best final albums I've ever heard from an artist. I'm hoping it's still on your list!
Definitely still on the list 👍
balance and options - Dj Quik
Very unrelated but would absolutely love a zelooperz review (he makes music with Earl) you’d have a great time with van gohs left ear. Great vid!!
The Night's Gambit is the album that got me into Ka, I hope you check it out. Honestly I hope you listen to _all_ his albums
Cant wait for more Billy woods!!!
Hopefully Hiding places
A tremendous loss, RIP Ka
Personal favorite of his is “Descendants of Cain”, RIP KA!!
lmao
Thank you for your work here Bob it's (beautiful)
True Holy Water being the last we ever hear from Ka is truly haunting, not his best album by any margin but so eerie and haunting going back to it after his passing. Days with Dr Yen Lo is an insanely underrated Ka project (Ka + Preservation), it might be as good as Descendant of Cain and tied with top 3 behind Samurai and Orpheus
I'd rank Ka's discog from what I've heard like: 1. Honor Killed The Samurai 2. Orpheus Vs. The Sirens 3. Descendants of Cain 4. Night's Gambit 5. A Martyr's Reward 6. The Thief Next to Jesus 7. Dr. Yen Lo 8. Grief Pedigree 9. Languish/Woeful The only ones I haven't heard are Iron Works and the EP
Not his best album any margin you say.... except, it really might arguably one of his best lol
@thermitemound8754Nah 6 is too low.
just so you know those aren't the official lyrics. just what some random fans could make out
Donda pls you’ll love it. So much heart and soul and pain
He said he is dropping the reaction Friday
@@roccocomp146when?
Price of tea in China- Boldy James x The Alchemist 🙏
Absolutely also boldy and Nicholas cravings latest album
YESSS
For sure
Yeah I'm kinda surprised he hasn't hit this yet but after listening to Manger hopefully that will motivate him to check out this underground classic
Something I love about the album title is it's a little ambiguous who Ka is referring to. When Jesus was crucified he was crucified along with two thieves - one who repented to Jesus and one who mocked the two of them. Ka's meditations in the album on how humans exploit their religions to defend vile acts and systems (in a sense mocking Jesus), feels like he's asking the listener what thief they'll be at the end. In spite of anyone's flaws we have the power to push for societal progress and the betterment of humanity. Or to mock Jesus and any other peaceful religious teacher by supporting systems of oppression and harm (especially in those people's names). I'm not exactly religious or spiritual but Ka's message is still extremely powerful and it's without a doubt my rap aoty.
I, as a Christian, albeit one that struggles a lot at times, found the duality of the album very interesting. I think it is an outlet for Ka's belief and difficulties with "religion" and, moreso, how people pervert it to meet their own ends rather than being genuinely faithful to the teachings of Jesus. I'm curious where he stood upon passing.
