To make a video to defend French people says it all. In other words, if you have to make a video like this, something is wrong. I've visited France (Arles to Lyon, Marseilles, & Nice) & still study the French language. Would I spend $$ to visit France again? I'm afraid to admit, No I would not. I rather travel to Quebec. Let me ask, Do French people learn the language that THEY visit? Learn their culture? The reverse also applies to French people visiting other countries. Practice what you preach.

What really stood out for me in this video is that it included ris d'veau. I love sweetbreads which is what they are called in America. However, they are very hard to find here. I will be traveling to Paris for a week the end of March and the beginning of April. I could actually plan my entire stay around going to the different restaurants that you have recommended. But I am so glad to see this restaurant has ris d'veau. I will definitely be coming here. I notice that you said that this is one of your favorite dishes as well. Is there any other restaurant that you could recommend that serves ris d'veau..

I live in Warsaw, 36sqm: living room with open kitchen and tiny bedroom, 2 huge closets with sliding doors in the hall& bathroom with washing machine.My problem is when I open the clothes dryier rack, it ocuppies lot of space:) Recently ive given up the bathtub for the sake of shower, and thats what i regret. Oven, 4 stove gas kitchen unit, cofee machine,microwave, even soda stream and thermomix all fits in kitchen. To reach to the city center is abt 15min by tram/bus, surrounding of parks. I m still not happy coz, as I realized watching your video, i cluttered my space with too much stuff. Thanks for your optimism and being modest:) good luck for you career!

It's 3 x my mortgage on my 3 bedroom house with parking for 3 cars, a garden and orchard. But it's reasonable for Paris.

While you brush off rudeness as honesty, you'll never move forward as a people. I moved to France six years ago and still can't leave the house without being surprised by the rudeness and meanness here. I will simply never get used to it. I stay because the social system is good. But at a personal interactive level, this place is a big fail. The problem is the population see themselves as children and the state as the parent. The children are always grumpy with the parent and take it out on their siblings. They don't realise you can put all this to one side and just be nice for the sake of being nice, realising there is more to life than politics and economics. The difference between the UK and France is that in the UK the people are scared of the government, in France the government is scared of the people. This means you get good services but you never cease from complaining as you are scared what will happen if you do. It's all about power and taking and not giving. These are generalisations and there are exceptions but France is dispiriting and drains the energy from life. The solution is just to stay in the house, enjoy your home, and pretend you live elsewhere. Countries shouldn't have revolutions. It messes the culture up forever. The fact you speak English shows you're not normal French and have seen a different way of life. But you still haven't completely escaped your cultic programming. You definitely have some things right, but you're still a co-dependent facilitator by excusing ce comportement detestable du monde des cons. One thing you are right about is that the French are equal opportunity haters - they hate each other as much as they hate us. In that way you are true to your own propaganda.

Nice to see how you make it work as a functional space. As much as there are very serious housing affordability issues throughout much of Canada, if these tiny units were ever built there would be mass outrage with cries of inhumane treatment.
