I can't believe he said a place where, "Your spirit can breathe." That is so lovely. Another deep thinker/feeler like you. Hope to see more of Ulysse in the future.👍🏽
Bonjour Theo and Ulysee, I'm visiting France in the fall and the Musee d Orsay is at the top of my list! Thank you for a little glimpse, I can't wait! Lori from California
Ulysse was a great guest! Really enjoyed hearing his tip for capturing someone's natural expressions in photos. Thought we might see him do some sketching!
The most amazing thing is that you are allowed to bring your backpack in. In Germany, where I am from, you have to put it in a locker almost in every museum, to not accidentally touch a painting or a statue with it. 😅
Excellent video Theo 🎨🖼️Got to visit Musee D'Orsay last April. It's Ironic that the greatest paintings in France are the ones with the smallest frames 😅😅
When you were standing above the rest of the museum looking down on it it looked like an optical illusion, with that half-floor above the small galleries!
I love the Musée d'Orsay as well! The central hall of the museum still has the feel of a train station, and I like the clock, which looks like the church in the film of Back to the Future. I was really impressed when I saw La Liberté guidant le peuple at Musée du Louvre and Bal du moulin de la Galette at Musée d'Orsay. I love impressionism as well.
I’ve been to the Museé d’Orsay on a number of occasions. It’s amazing! Like Ulysee, I love the painting of the woman with a parasol on the right. Somehow, it just captures my attention. It’s one of my favorite Monet paintings. Overall, this may be the greatest museum in the world for impressionist paintings.
Renoir was my first love when I first started learning about art and Impressionism. I could not get enough of his lush brush strokes. But I would really love to see the Van Gogh's. Amazing, amazing art.💙🤍❤
Bonjour Theo and Ulysee, thank you for the beautiful vlog of Musee d’Orsay. I will be going there this spring. I appreciate seeing the building layout and some of the most famous works. Thank you for sharing your artistic talent with us daily.
love your reaction, I had the same one - "wooow it's such a beautiful building"=) To me Orsay and Orangerie are the most beautiful museums (big Monet girl) that I visit every time I'm in Paris♥ And actually yes - the painting on the right triggers more emotion than the one on the left=)) maybe it's the contrast and depth that seems to be more intense in the painting on the right?
Théo, I love Ulysse. First of all his name: parfait for an artiste. His English is wonderful! And the shot at 10:03 where he pops up smiling behind you made me LOL. Very fun, sweet guy.😄This building is a feast for the eyes. Just a magical place. What a great idea to visit!👏🏽👏🏽 Merci beaucoup!
I think I liked Musee d Orsay better dan d Louvre, its complicated , yet fascinating, thank u sooooo much for sharing Theo. My favourite is Claude Monet . I hv seen his Normandy house n garden n his vast collection of paintings, sooooooooo beautiful n he is a Scorpion like me , so I m incredibly infatuated by his artwork , once again thank u Theo for a beautiful vlog Dil se ( straight frm d heart ) , take care n a demain👋👋
Bonjour et merci beaucoup pour votre videos. Now I really want to visit this museum. Desolé j'ai quatre jours à Paris en novembre. This means I have to make some clever choices and not spend everything on bicycle or in the metro. There is a beautiful Dr Who episode about van Gogh featuring the starry nights paintings. As a former film student, worth watching, I would think. Both the g's in van Gogh should be pronounced a bit harder, a bit like choking on a croissant. Google translate does have an accurate pronunciation in Dutch.
@@frenchguytheo Bonjour Theo, thank you so much for your reply. Your advice is very helpful because it adds flexibility in my first visit in your city. This is my second city in your country, Lyon way back before Covid 19 hit. May I ask another question : how about St Chapelle & Palace Garnier, should I buy advance ticket? Thank you
One of my favorite museums in Paris.
I can't believe he said a place where, "Your spirit can breathe." That is so lovely. Another deep thinker/feeler like you. Hope to see more of Ulysse in the future.👍🏽
My favorite museum. The Monet picture of the girl on the hill with the parasol is one of my most favorite paintings. Thanks, Theo and Ulysse.
Happy you loved the video !
Théo, je n’arrive pas à croire cette confession !

You will love it I'm sure !

I can't believe it's your visit Théo! I hope this museum becomes your new favourite. Orsay is one of my most favourite museums in the world.
It's an incredible museum !

I almost touch a statue with it ahah, but it's rally heavy, and the paintings are protected with a glass all the time

That's crazy but yes the most famous of the museum were really small !
So so much looking forward to visiting and looking at these paintings. Love the Impressionists. Thank you Theo.
You will love it !
Bonjour Theo and Ulysee! Please do more Museum Walks 😊It’s very interesting and inspiring 🎉
Thank you ! I'm happy you enjoyed it !

Have definitely visited many times and it’s great to experience the museum with you for the first time. I can’t believe how empty it is!
Claude Monet bday is 14 November, my bday is also on d same day 😊😊

And you get to hangout with young Orlando Bloom , Amazing Theo 🤭🤳🏻✨
8:33 The left side 🤲🏽
Bonjour Theo! Love Musee’ D’Orsay! Monet is my favorite. I visited maison de Monet et les jardins Giverney. Tres belle. I am working on my French😊
I wish you all the best in your French learning journey ! I hope you love our language !

Same here, I love all the different spaces in Orsay, especially the "train station" room. Orsay feels much more intimate than the Louvre.
I absolutely agree tooo👍
Bonjour Theo, have to been to the petite palais? How about a visit/video? It is my favorite. Mercy. :) Thank you for your videos.
Bonjour Theo n Ulysee❤❤

I do the visit, I recomend too... the piece of Art is ..... Vincent Van Gogh Portrait
Amazing space, huge. Should I buy the ticket in advance or just on the day I am visiting? Thank you
You can buy it on the day, it's not as crowded as the Louvre so you won't have to wait a lot I think

So cool 🔥
How long was the line waiting to get in?
We didn't wait !
Aloha Theo.
Did you see L'Origine du monde by any chance?
Oh I missed it !
@@frenchguytheo next time !
