Macrolides | Structure | Mechanism | Resistance | Interaction | Adverse Effects
#pharmacology #antibiotics #drugs #macrolides #azithromycin #clarithromycin #erythromycin #microbiology
Macrolies inhibit bacterial protein synthesis. The mechanism of action of macrolides revolves around their ability to bind the bacterial 50S ribosomal subunit causing the cessation of bacterial protein synthesis.
Like any other antibiotic, macrolides carry a certain level of risk from typical adverse effects like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Abdominal symptoms are largely the result of macrolides being motilin agonists causing an increased risk of gastrointestinal upset and side effects.

#anatomy #upperlimb #pectoral #breast #langer #female #chest A single breast can be divided into four quadrants: UO, upper inner (UI), lower outer (LO), and lower inner (LI) by two perpendicular planes intersected at the nipple. A tail of breast tissue called the "axillary tail of Spence” extend into the underarm area. This is important because a breast cancer can develop in this axillary tail,...

#pharmacology #antibiotics #drugs #tetracycline #doxycycline #minocycline #bacteria #microbiology Tetracycline is a short-acting antibiotic that inhibits bacterial growth by inhibiting translation. It binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit and prevents the amino-acyl tRNA from binding to the A site of the ribosome. It also binds to some extent to the 50S ribosomal subunit. Food Interactions Avoid m...

The body normally produces antibodies to HBsAg as part of th...

Why is DNA strands incomplete and complete
HBV has partial double stranded DNA...... for the replication and making more protein it will first of all complete its double stranded DNA otherwise functions will not be performed properly.

Please tell me who actually discovered the HBsAg. The hepatitis B virus was discovered in 1965 by Dr. Baruch Blumberg who won the Nobel Prize for his discovery. what about Dr David Dane then
Being recommended to Dr Abiola on RUclips was a blessing after years of suffering . I have finally been cured from HEPATITIS virus thanks Dr Abiola you are indeed a Blessing to this generation #DRABIOLA ❤☮️
Dr Baruch Blumberg discovered = Antigen (Australia Antigen - HBsAg) Dr David Dane discovered = HBV (Dane Particle)
So what is the difference between HBV and HbsAg
