Ok First off I checked ada's channel yesterday It had no new video and RUclips apparently says this video came out a week ago Also I am subscribed to adagia and I DIDN'T GET A NOTIFICATION WHEN THIS VIDEO CAME OUT THE FCK RUclips?? Ok RUclips being garbage is something different as for about this good video waiting for Town of salem to get better is an optimistic approach and One I hope will work out I too love this game and I hope for it to get better In the mean while maybe You should Also Play other social deduction games? I would love to see some guides on other social deduction games aswell. I will name an example umm Mafia42. It has micro transations aswell but not as many as tos For sure besides it's totally different. Roles are different from town of salem. Game mechanics and how the Mafia team works is different. I think You might enjoy it well either way I hope Town of salem gets better and I also Hope you try other social deduction games aswell. Love ya Vids and your contribution to this community.

How can the mayor put someone else on trial and hang them when their is litteraly only mafia/coven left? How does nobody notice some random dude getting out of sight during the day to summon a literal meteor on someone's face? How can nobody hear the shots at night when every houses is 10 meters apart? Why can't the pirate just wear all of their weapons at once? If everyone can wear an armor when pirated, why can't they wear it against the serial killer?

I haven't really kept up to date much in tos news, and it's very sad for me hear the deterioration it's gone through and all your work not going anywhere.

2 things I do that are as close to gamethrowing without gamethrowing 1. When I die as mafia I set as many random numbers as there are mafia remaining in my last will. They won’t be mafia and are designed to trick Town into voting their own Allie’s out, giving my mafia an advantage. 2. I will jail a revealed mayor. Although most people probably do this. I like to jail D1 mayor reveals so that they aren’t immediately dead by D2 and reveal to them who I am

Even after a decade of tos being out, i got back into the community and played the game during ToS1, when town of salem 2 came out, i quit the game. It is too fundamentally different, and i felt like the community migrated over, so i just quit cold turkey

have you ever played blood on the clocktower? it is the best social deduction game ever imo, the best twist on the mafia/werewolf formula i've seen, and can be played online!! might be a nice break from tos2

As soon as ToS2 was announced. I knew ToS1 wasn’t gonna be played a ton. There’s a handful of people playing but not enough ever since tos2 And every update from you has just been reminding me that I made the right choice so far, I haven’t bought tos2 yet. As much as love the game and love the community. It’s not worth the hassle. I’ll stay in tos1 where it has its own flaws, But it’s not terrible. To think I started playing this game by searching Blank Media Games into a browser and playing from there. To this. . . Whether good or bad, this community has had one amazing ride. ❤ If you stop making tos content. I’d still watch whatever else you make, it could be social deduction, or it could be anything else. I think that this is actually looking up, or at the very least, less down. Tuba and Curtis are right, but also, DB doesn't have a motive to screw over the community. We've seen exactly what BMG intended with the game, they knew dang well they were tanking it, and their intention was to end BMG, and to squeeze out a bit or money in the meantime. Or, at least, something like that. Tuba and Curtis are very likely going to be a good reference for DB, probably™ as they can't confirm or deny anything, but DB has no motive to screw over town of salem 2 anymore, they are just a somewhat scummy company, and that's FAR better than what we are used to.

Prosecutor and Marshall seems too much. Deputy is enough since there is conjurer. It feels like vigilantes but while people are revealing themselves

honestly i think the fans need to take the reigns, make a game like tos that costs 2 bucks and little to no microtransactions, the fans already care about this game more than the devs. It would be a lot of effort, but at a certain point you just lose faith in the devs

Pipetron's videos get 10x more views daily than TOS2 has PLAYERS. It's been this way for awhile, but I think we all know why.

Late to the video as it came out at an inconvenient time for me. Personally it was really sad to watch this happen, it felt like Overwatch 2 all over again and that was a massive shame, hopefully it will get better, remaining optimistic yet logical with this. Either way Ada, just know that we are all grateful for all the videos you made, no matter what happens, personally the videos provided quite a bit of laughs and fun moments for me so whether you decide to take a break, quit youtube or change to another game/genre of videos, I and I am sure many others (but let's be realistic I am not speaking for anyone else but myself) will support you 100%. If this has been a final game of Town of Salem then you are as hard confirmed town as you can get with all your dedication, meanwhile the people behind all the changes are the town traitor, probably a vigilante town traitor considering how much they tried to shoot this game down with their decisions. Metaphors and sad memories behind, just know that you have brought a lot of good moments Ada, even with this video, despite jt being a sadder topic, your voice has always been comforting to just listen to. See you in the next game, curious to see what role you will get when the time comes. (I am not apologising, I just like metaphors XD)

Yeah it kinda sucks because it really wouldn't take much to fix tos2 step 1 ban all the vc/discord cheating youtubers as nothing kills the fun faster than ending up in a lobby with one and all their simps throw the game for them Step 2 replace the roles that were only added to counter the cheaters Step 3 simply remove customizable names and remove all forms of anonymous so the game throwing simps get caught faster

This was pretty much my exact point of view before chatting with someone far closer to DB than I could hope to be, as well as hearing Tuba talk about it on stream. I want to give DB a chance to get better. The base game is already in a bad state, so why not see if it improves? If it doesn't, Im still gonna play modded. If it does, I may play vanilla again. Best case scenario for me is scaling back the microtransactions back to what Ada mentioned was acceptable in her previous video.

Ada, you make good content. Well, great, really, but most of us don't want to inflate your ego so you sail up to the sun. Unless it's night time, then you should be fine. Same thing happened to L4D, and to RDR. Saw your channel through Pipe, got hooked on the Helium. Best of luck. Don't keep drinking from a poisoned well; the only people who enjoy that kinda show watch 2 girls 1 cup intentionally.

I didn't know people had this much expectations for ToS2, but simply put it is over for this current version, and most likely it would also end as a dead game too, First Class Trouble although it succeeded stopped updating since let me check...June 5, 2023. So yeah I think ToS newest version will be a polished then abandoned after a determined amount of time.

it's sad if you were to leave youtube (and sad that tos2 is in this state) in all honesty, I got better at tos because of your guides and I also did laugh at some of the videos and got informed of tos and its states. And you're one of the reasons I've gotten inspired to start and make youtube essay videos (on wolvesville) tho,I get the frustration where your favorite game starts going downhill because of bad desicions but hopefully the gmae goes on a good direction. wish you the best tho

I loved the game, I brought like 15 other players to the game, to the point where I had to told them not to use my name as a redeem, as I wont get anymore than coins anyways anymore. We sat together every other evening, playing as a closed group. when enough people left, so we were six or less people, we than abandoned custom lobbys and hopped onto all Any. During other times of the day, I played ranked solo for myself... Unfortunatly my group broke / I left for personal reasons, and immediatly after the new updates with socialite etc. came. Since then, I somehow never really enjoyed the game that much anymore, but I honestly cannot tell if the reason is the lack of my group, or the game changing, or both... I hope I can come back to the game at some point and enjoy it just as much as I did before, with TOS and TOS2

I haven't played tos 1 or 2 for quite a while. It was a pretty casual game for me, but making small blunders that someone could instantly hang me for as the marshal or shoot me for as the deputy, then misreading something and getting a shot wrong as those roles really tanks your enjoyment of the game. I feel like tos 2 needs to return to form really badly. Just in terms of gameplay, it seems like the devs have been taking the approach of "lets make everything overpowered so nothing is overpowered", but it just doesnt work in a social deduction game. Rather than having thought put into every action, it juat comes down to who can pull all their triggers first, which sucks as someone who can't piece a lot of things together in the little amount of time that current tos 2 gives. Then there's all the microtransactions that just push me further from the game because now I feel like I've missed stuff that puts me at a disadvantage. I don't think I can ever come back to town of salem with the way things are going, and it sucks to say because tos1 was the only game I really spent money in when I was younger. Btw, I've seen the idea of a second channel/"rebrand" floating around in the comments. I just want to say, do whatever you want to with youtube. ToS2 is pretty trash now days. From balance to community it's so fucking bad it's not worth playing. I uninstalled, I had thousands of hours on ToS1, quite a bit of hours of ToS2, it's just a game that got ran into the ground. Too many instant confirm roles, too much of players just throwing because there is no repercussion for being a deputy random shooting day 2. The game went from deductions to RNG lobbies and TPOW vs COV role rng. There is a reason content creators do closed lobbies and banned roles, because it's the only way to enjoy the game now. Just not worth playing anymore.

Never played ToS or ToS2 but I've always enjoyed watching content through Pipe, Skimm, and before it was revealed how predatory he was, iRepptar. It sucks to hear how this game is falling after the success of the og ToS. Many of the games seem to become chaotic chat lobbies full of shenanigans without many people focusing on the game beyond a casual interest. I hope you can find another game that fulfills that social deduction itch if ToS2 doesnt live up to your expectations. Will stay subbed and watch whatever you decide to put out. Till the next one!

I’m sorry it has come to this and wish you the best. It would be nice to still see you make content, but I get that ToS is more or less your muse I hope the game improves with the change in ownership, though I also have my doubts

I used to be very active in the Town Of Salem ranked community from 2020-2021 (to the point I was at one point named one of the top 10 players or underrated players by some random reddit post) and I haven't really kept up with the game since then, it's a shame that this has happened and I hope ToS 2 will still be thriving in the future. I never got around to playing it due to life stuff.

I have played exactly zero games of ToS1/2 yet I still have watched every single video you have made. It’s sad that at the end of the day money is the only thing that drives businesses, but it remains true regardless. BlankMediaGames reached that goal with the sale of the TOS IP. I hope something good comes of it, but having been part of quite a few mergers and acquisitions over my professional career I am not going to hold my breath.
