Honestly a pretty decent list but I would put Mario and Kirby higher. I think you are underrating how important game feel is for these characters. Mario is a simple character but he is based around using platforms for his combos. Especially in Ultimate the better you are at using platforms, the more dangerous Mario is. I do think he should have a better recovery but I love how much he focuses on showing off the core features of this new genre of platform fighters as a translation of the classic shoto moveset to a platforming game. Kirby in Smash is very interesting because I think he should be simple. I’ve seen generations of kids and beginners pick up Kirby and have so much fun for him. I haven’t seen another character in any other fighting game be so universally enjoyed by new players. I think it’s good to keep Kirby simple but make his specials make him special because in Kirby his power comes from his special moves, not what he can do normally. Stone especially is an all time classic move and i feel you should give more props for that. I do think Hammer and especially Final Cutter should be changed as I don’t really feel they fit anymore but I think he is excellently designed for what he wants to do.
