There will always be those who are never satisfied. When a company is breaking the boundaries of technology and offering great value for money at the same time things will undoubtably be 'experimental' at launch and early adopters should realise this and work with the manufacturer to provide successful support. If we all get up in arms when things go wrong then companies such as Pimax will cease to exist and to our detriment. True supporters will keep on working together to achieve that lasting smile when we realise the full potential of our equipment. I have already paid for the Crystal Super on day 1 of the pre-order announcement and look forward to working together when that hits the floor along with any likely teething problems. 😉

Warranty's are a scam to begin with. Why would we buy a $1500 headset that doesn't work for at least two years. I agree, 7 Months of functionality is pretty bad.

You only made me go and order a H6 after watching these and seeing the Black Friday deals. Still a bit confused about motion compensation after watching your videos which is probably just me but it seems the methods you've shown mean I have to either use a outside in HMD with base stations or a Quest 3 with pro controllers - is that right? No other options for inside out HMDs?

Ordered a Crystal Light a few days ago and it arrived yesterday. It has same much mura like the PSVR2 and the software and everthing around is worst. 4 times firmwareupdate failed, desktopscreen allway turn on and off cause the crystal reconnects every 5 secounds, the screen was flickering and my skin hurts from the foam they use. I want to give it a chance cause I love that Pimax invests that much in PCVR but that very very strong mura was the reason for me to sent it back today.

As collaborators with PIMAX, our experience with their support team was great. Of course, as we showcase their products and having a direct line to the company itself helps take down any time delays, and fortifies a good experience. From comments and discussion in our community, we noticed 3 trends: The users that bought or tried PIMAX products and fell in love with the crystal clear view and wide FOV and would never go back to a lesser headset. Then the users who got PIMAX products but encountered issues, either setup or faults that would still be included in the warranty, or even compatibility issues due to their systems. Nr.3 are the users who never tried PIMAX and because of certain views and opinions on the internet, deem that PIMAX is just not for them, or argue with the price. We understand that VR is not tailored for everyone, not yet at least. PIMAX has to grow and with more Transparency and a good collaboration with Game Devs, companies like this, have a clear path to success.

These videos are all just completely full of fake comments. Nearly every comment is a bot account with 4 numbers or a hacked account or another RUclipsr shilling for pimax. This company needs to be barred from doing business with anyone outside of China. Ban them at the payment processor level. Do not give this company money.

bet they are made for $50 in some 3rd world s=hole. I will never by another Meta product either... my Oculus sucks...

For dark games, the PSVR2 is much better than the Quest3, I only do simulation, and having constant image compression with the Quest3 didn't suit me anymore, I took the PSVR2 for 350 with adapter, and frankly it's great, the oled is great, and the difference in definition is really negligible. I will never come back to the Quest3 for simulation.

To be fair, firehouse subs aren't that great. Lol. 😂

Unfortunately with this video you confirm my concerns about this young/little company..I've been saving money to buy a Crystal light to replace my "old" Reverb G2 to play DCS but now that I've seen your video, I'm sure I won't buy It and when my G2 will stop working properly (hope as late as possible) I'll look somewhere else...Thank you!!!

Why cant we still buy the Crystal! for those who waited and now want one its impossible, As a Crystal OG users all the promotions are for the Light. I am tired of hearing about the Light. Where is our wide FOV lenses? Personally i would rather say keep them as I ordered a Super which also sucked because you offered one version. Been waiting since the original announcement for the 50PPD version. I ordered a 57PPD version because historically PIMAX can only focus on one headset so if a person chooses to wait we will never see it. I don't want to wait another year for the 50PPD version. There is very little to compete in the high end retail market either! I feel like the Light has taken over which sucks for people who wanted the Crystal OG or packages based on that. PIMAX only sold the product for a few months!

Pimax FAILED. They failed in QC and they failed in customer service. Thanks to the previous video I know why Pimax is delaying out replacement lens. And the customer service folks have a language barrier.

I use my reverb G2 as long as it works. The start with HP was also not fluid but got a new cable after a phone call without problems. 4 years old now and still works fine on win 10. I also won't pay $1500 for a VR headset! -_-

A company run by amateurs.. Looks pretty much like the chinese company i was working for early this year. No insurance, no properly Trained staff, staff not knowing how to tackle claims (how should they without insurance), absolute beginners in management and leadership. Started with 3 others. All of them left in the 1st week. I quited after 5 months as it was almost impossible to get chinese Management understand that things (legally) work different in Europe than in China and certain things are a legal must and not an option. 1 time my very young chinese Branch Manager told me that we adhere to chinese law as we were a Chinese company... Forgetting that we were a registered entity in Europa country. It's the mindset which they have Hard time to understand because things in China work differently

Hi just purscahsed a H6. I have Pimax crystal light with controllers. Can I use one of them as a tracking device? If not would you be able to provide a link for what I can use? I have today witmotion sensor, but as I understand I`m not able to use that one fro the H6. Thank you so much!

I was one of the first to purchase the Crystal when it was released, part of the package then was the additional wider FOV lenses, and like you prior to receiving the headset I received an offer email from Pimax asking if I would wait for the glass version of the wide FOV lens to be released an have these instead of the plastic version, I have asked the question also chasing these but did not receive any update on when these would be forth coming. As I have now owned my Crystal for over a year and my warranty has now lapsed do you think that we will still be getting these when they are eventually released.

I don't own a Pimax in fact i never heard of them until this video appeared on my feed but it sounds like they are getting a glut of support tickets requests that is overwhelming their support agent(s). It would be interesting for them to share stats around: 1. Publish the top 3 or 5 issues - something we can learn as a community. 2. The number of tickets received vs. their response time vs. actual resolution. 3. # of headsets that required replacement due to beyond economical repair In the spirit of transparency, I own Pico, HTCs and Meta Quests headsets - each has their own nuances and issues but at the end of the day it must just simply, work!

There are surly not many representatives of companies who would react so positively and directly to the customer like Pimax. I had only helpful people in Pimax support. I look forward very much to the Pimax Super. 👍

if you want an high end oled hmd look at the megane x 8k superlight. Should be the same Panel as Pimax Crystals super Oled version. And it looks much more compfortable and lighter.

I understand the frustration but i think its not cool to be so harsh up front without giving this man his stage to explain from his viewpoint. And to be honest I'm hoping for this company to be a wonderful company to deal with I just ordered the super and I am really looking forward to it

Hey Mark, I'm just catching up with all this as it's been such a busy week with the new sim release 😵 It's so sad to see Pimax are still struggling with poor customer service and QC issues. Especially as this has been a big problem for too long now. While most of my community seem to be extremely happy with their Crystals, I feel for those who get a dodgy unit. Thankfully my Discord has been an effective way for users to get direct contact with Pimax. I'd urge anyone struggling with their ticket, to head over there and we will get you sorted. Nice to see that Pimax/Japp decided to show up on Your channel. I'm not doubting for a minute that it's a matter of bad communication internally. Some people just do what their told, exactly what their told and nothing more/less. Hopefully, they (1st line) can make a habit of asking internally, before replying like they did in Your case.

I respect Pimax for coming on the stream to try PR. However, there is a lot of reputation damage associated with Pimax and has been for years. While customer service improvement plans are good and necessary, a fair judgement can only be made on their implementation over time. For the time being I shall remain cautiosly sceptical.
