Hello, what lake you are fishing at?

I caught my biggest which was shy of 12”!

I've been digging for years. I prefer to get closer to the water as the hole you dig will back fill with water. Throw a scoop of sand up and follow with a shovel of water over it. You might be surprised. Dig deeper in the same spot following same method and you will get more surprises! You can limit easily on a much smaller footprint than you are doing here. I've filled five gallon buckets from a private beach digging down on a 2 square foot hole. Back fill the hole and you have now created a new unique area for clams to move into. Fun video, glad to see the family participates!
