Hello bashi can you put a sinker on the bottom of the float squid jig?
I have never tried, it's might be hard to feel the bite

Are you letting your bottom jig touch or bounce bottom when jigging upward?
It depends. During spawn season I usually do that trick because they are all near the bottom.
