THANK YOU for talking about the OST. I always thought that it was overhated and the complaints people had about it made no sense. They complained about it as if it was OBJECTIVELY bad, not that it's just not their type of music. And people still complain about this type of music in Frontiers and premydaremy(a popular Sonictuber) calls making this type of music or remixing it "Ohtanifing" it, which he uses it as a way to show that Ohtani is ruining Sonic music. I always thought that it was a great change and that it gave these games its own identity, and it was especially fitting for Cyberspace.

The Deathball gravity reverse boss was actually a great idea with two flaws. The first is that nothing tells you the spiked rollers are the way to damage the boss unless you manage to by accident. The second is that you should not be able to go back through the same elevator. You should have to switch sides each time by jumping over the rolers. It's a much better idea for the challenge. I suppose they could have made 2 rollers hitting it do 2 damage for a quick kill strategy.

9:30 as a 20 year veteran musician, both the original prototype music & the origins versions of said music are terrible when compared to the original brad buxer/michael jackson tracks that were removed. they would've been better off replacing the missing tracks with the sonic 3 multiplayer level themes. i even have a video on my main channel (not this one) where i replace & edit in the sonic 3 multiplayer themes & its a million times better than what they did in the final product of sonic origins. if you're a music lover, there's no way one can prefer the new tracks over the old ones. not only that, the new tracks are low bitrate. its like someone at sega took an unmastered bootleg MP3 & just threw it into the game. every track & sound effect sounds like a wet blanket is covering your speakers, which is why sonic 1, 2 & CD in the origins collection sound clearer & crisper than sonic 3 origins. nevermind Amy's rolling sprite & hitbox being smaller than everyone else's, causing physics problems. this is just a botched collection all around.

All the Sonic games (1-3 & Knuckles) are G.O.A.T. I’m experiencing a deja that Sonic 3 & Knuckles will be back to play on all of the more updated iOS and android devices. They have the money for the copyrighted music and the technology to digitally remaster it. They’ve already done it with Sega’s Golden Axe trilogy, the very first Streets of Rage and a few days ago I see they now have the GTA trilogy. There’ll be a day when consoles will phase out and everything game wise will be able to be done on a ios or android device

The prototype soundtracks were also used for the PC version, which was my first version of Sonic 3. I'm a little thrilled to see them make a come back. Fun fact: For the finger portion of the final boss fight you can spin dash and it counts the hits without killing you.

Making good music for the Genesis was an art and a science, the best chip tunes on the system were done by people who had both music experience and programming experience like Yuzo Koshiro for example was quite fluent in programming Z80 assembly getting his start making games for the PC 88. If the Brad Buxer guy was coming from a record label studio experience he must've lacked technical know-how.

The problem sonic 1 has is that Marble Zone is the second level of the game. Switch it and Starlight zone and the game gets significantly better

I must be the only sonic fan in the world that likes sonic 2's special stages. Yeah, they certainly have their faults to be sure, but I dunno. Maybe it's nostalgia, but I simply can't hate sonic 2's special stages. Blue sphere, meanwhile... It's a great special stage to be sure, but I dunno... I've gotten bored with it over the years.

Sonic on the GameCube was my sincere intro to sonic and its still 1 of my fav sonic games ever ❤....but sonic adventure 2 done everything this 1 done and much better...2 would forever hold a special place in my heart

Also, it's almost without a doubt Jackson helped with the sound track (voice and some melodies), but did not fully compose any songs, thus not credited (unfairly). Nonetheless, most music wasn't brought over to the releases due to copyright restrictions, because of these involvements.

Son is 2 was almost percent , For me 1. It is too short not enough stages 2. Tails was not utilized well enough *the hitch on ability that allow him to be a hand glider for Sonic *a more Sonic 2-player team aspect That split the screen when Sonic & tails separated

Am I the only one thats sad THIS is the game that got sonic back on track, some ok bosses with really cool music but everything else around the game is filled with a myriad of issues and If sonic were to come back I really wished they came back with a bang rather than a game that feels like its in its alpha build

Just beat it for the first time recently and Sonic 3 + knuckles is by far THE best classic sonic i played but.....Sonic adventure battle 2 is the best sonic game ever in my eyes...(so far)
