Gangstar was the fucking best mobile freerome game. Btw asphalt is way too hyped up. Their new game they released on console is fucking garbage, just not for me, pointless to have on console and it has daily play time limits too

Why everyone forgets that Gameloft has made tasm 1 and 2 games and dark knight Arkham game and even assassin creed the game like that's an idea to get more money bruh.

Elden Ring ran worse on consoles than on PC, same as Baldur's Gate 3, another GOTY. Jedi Survivor was terrible among all platforms until many patches later. TLOU Part 1 was arguably the worst PC port since Batman: Arkham Knight in 2015, which means it's not a good example because it's something that very rarely happens. Different configurations of hardware don't matter because of API standardizations. It's easier to develop for PC. You can have games running poorly on consoles like Silent Hill 2 Remake, ARK, Baldur's Gate 3, Dragon's Dogma 2, Elden Ring, Cyberpunk after the updates, Hellblade 2, Brothers A Tale Of Two Sons, Robocop, Remnant 2, Black Myth: Wukong, Starfield, Hogwarts Legacy on Xbox Series, Final Fantasy XVI, FF VII Rebirth, Immortals of Aveum, Lords Of The Fallen, and a BIG etc, but people are going to ignore them and pretend like everything is fine, because people on consoles rarely care about having drops to 55 fps when the target id 60 fps. The experience getting into a game it's the same. Assuming you bought the game, you search it (which is faster with a keyboard btw) > press download > press play. It's actually easier on PC now because you don't have to update any drivers if you don't want, and online is free, so you don't have to introduce credit cards numbers or passwords using a controller. If you guys keep trying to pretend like consoles are perfect, they're not going to stop going down in quality and numbers. The console gaming community is quite literally killing console gaming. The only way they can improve now is if they become more like PCs (or they can straight up become PCs and give you the option to use Steam if you want too). Or, if that doesn't happen, you can keep trying to... do this. Cope, lie, and eventually end up jumping to PC after saying something like "I feel like now PC gaming is worth it over consoles" when it has the same advantadges since the beggining of the previous generation. So what is it going to be: a jump to PC, or Sony and Microsoft making PCs for console gamers?

true story, when i was little 8-9 years old, i had no ideea abou how much it was 2.5€ to ,,buy a game" ( i got an old nokia with buttons). And i truly don t know that if u buy a game from them, u'll got a subscription who u ll gonna pay monthly 😭. and suddently, my mom billing for phone, from 20-30€ it became 100€ 😭😭 And i had no ideea that i got a subscription from them for 3-4 months

EA is garbage and honestly I don't know why anyone with a functioning brain cell buys their games. Especially their sports titles...what moron buys a game and then spends money on lootboxes...only to buy the exact same game and lootboxes a year later? Just proof that EA only exists because of the abject stupidity of the market.

Gameloft's whole shtick was on a timer anyway. They only had a fairly small window of opportunity from 2008 to 2011 where they could produce knock-offs of popular console games in an environment with no competition. Rockstar starting to port their GTA games to mobile in 2011 was already the beginning of the end for Gameloft's monopoly on "console-like" mobile games.

As someone whose been a gamer AND rabid collector of video games, this video is even more of a reason I am fascinated by mobile games. If you're a fan of traditional video games, every new console would be discussed at nauseam to make sure that you wanted to buy them; hell, its the entire gaming side of the Internet's job to make games A) known by a wide audience and B) have lots of gameplay/graphical polish so that they look better than the competition and C) generate excitement and "hype" around every detail of a game even if it doesn't warrant it. Mobile games are in this unique video game sidecar in which - though they're more profitable than literally every other game console on the market - nobody talks about them, their history, or what the best games are on the platform - even if you want to get into it! Granted, mobile game history is difficult to study its history because - much like MMOs - the second a game is no longer profitable, those servers are cut off preventing the other gaming audiences to experience them, but still, if this were Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft? When the big three want you to buy something, gaming websites WILL NOT let you forget about those games for months if not years - even if (like the Last Guardian) it hasn't been worked on for over a decade! thank you for the video, I really appreciate your insight!

In MC5, Gameloft places ads after multiplayer matches so you are disconnected from the server, and disconnects you from the game server after you watch the reward ad so you don't receive your reward There is an ad for every click on the menu

My only memory is playing the pixelated racing game made by Gameloft on the nokia on my helper's phone but now my helper stopped working here.

THIS is what happens when games go online only and you need a persistent internet connection just to play them. Not to mention the fact that SimCity 2013 had restrictive map sizes. Sorry, but that's just the cold hard facts. Cities Skylines 1&2 are the city builders that SimCity SHOULD HAVE been. Take notes EA. I m sure alot of u don't know this game called order and chaos, it was amazingly fun and I'd say one of my fav games, unfortunately the game got shutdown since there was no update to it since years but yeah its just sad how things are going for Gameloft..

I downloaded this recently out of nostalgia. Literal garbage. Micro transactions and ads everywhere. Progression through leveling up basically basically replaced by purchasing loot boxes.

The best way to enjoy gaming as a whole is easy. Dont pre order, dont play on release and wait a few weeks. The worst thing are the companys and the greedy shareholders.

Im still playing I've been playing since I heard about hide n seek in 2022 and it's my FAVOURITE GAME OF 2023 AND 2024
