HOLY SHIT! The editing was awesome! I thought I was watching a 100.000+ subscribers youtuber's video... Don't stop man!!!! Now cities:skylines reigns supreme
True man, it's disheartening to spend so much time and money creating these. And then not get any views. Still I am trying to improve in my topic selection and packaging, so that i can try my best to get better views
@@TheGameExplainers yeah it's so annoying youtube is all about maximising audiences and not actually creating good videos, although I think all your videos will be great
THIS is what happens when games go online only and you need a persistent internet connection just to play them. Not to mention the fact that SimCity 2013 had restrictive map sizes. Sorry, but that's just the cold hard facts. Cities Skylines 1&2 are the city builders that SimCity SHOULD HAVE been. Take notes EA. THIS is what happens when you push your games to be online only, not to also mention predatory MTX.
I've watched a couple of videos on this topic over the years, and yet you mentioned stuff I had never heard. And I'm sad this franchise died (as I think it is still better than Cities Skylines).
Do you remember me stopped playing games for a while if you dont i was the one who had npc pfp and said you deserved 1000 thousand subs in yoir community post Which you still deserve Edit: Also do more videos on popular games like the gta one which has like 250k veiws that will probably get you veiws
Still much prefer this game's approach to city management and simulation compared to Cities Skylines. I think SimCity makes you feel more involved with your cities, and your decisions have an impact on them. Not to mention SimCity 2013's art style and sound design are absolutely brilliant, you can't help but stare at your cities and just watch them flow... Cities Skylines is a great city painter but not so much a good simulator in my opinion, as it relies almost completely on traffic management. CS 2 is looking a lot more promising however, can't wait to try it.
Bruh this channel mad underated. Very polished and good quality content. Where's the views? You deserve more subs
Thanks
Sim city 3000 is still my favourite... Maxis made some good games but EA do a pretty good job of killing successful franchises

Great video. Learned things I did not know about a story I thought I knew pretty well and it wasn’t even that long.
Awesome video..!

How on Earth this guy has so few subscribers? The quality of video and content is amazing
Thanks 😊
Where was SimCity on the super Nintendo that really shot it up? It was one of the first games to release on the super Nintendo.
At least this video let's me know that they really screwed sim city , i thought i was alone. Thanks

I lost interest after SC3K, forcing people to have a persistent Internet connection to shabby servers.

@@TheGameExplainers oh nice!
in 10:29 it says that it was released on May 5
Actually it was released on March 5
Great video btw
My bad
This is the same thing that happen to RollerCoaster Tycoon.
Could be a whole series of content: “How EA Killed… (whatever it touched)”
My first PC ever came whit a copy of SimCity 3000 Unlimited.
Funs times, fun times.
Still holds up today.

Klei entertainment they made good games but sadly acquired by chinese giant
