The teacher telling the child in front of his face they are dumb is horrific because this is what I went through in school. I’ve had severe learning disabilities since I was a child and was told many time that I was dumb and had no future. I ended up fine as I’m a neuroscience major and premed but my self esteem and those words affect me daily. If a child is not succeeding, look in the mirror and ask what you can do. I could go on and on about all the horrific stories I have about teachers but I’m not going to say those because of the few teachers I had that mean so much to me.
