Just left a card shop and they was selling stellar crown booster boxes for $325😱.I was like ok how much for the Temperal forces and he said $225........We are doomed 😢

Not waiting for set legality is fucking awful. I remember having to pay essentially pre-release prices with the vendors. Like if that was the case the day off for broken Lugia, Lugia playset would have hit easily 100+ from vendors and then immediately go down to normal. It’s awful People try to pre-order (Risk of not getting the cards in time), go to pre-release (and pay pre-release prices), or haggle people at locals. It’s terrible

as someone coming back to play , its really strange this situation in pokemon comparing to others tcg, more people collecting then playing, thus makes it really nice to be able to play any deck for a cheaper price,it makes it a more fair game comparing to others hopefully they keep prefering the shiny cards instead of the meta relevants...

As far as big events every other TCG I've played cards are legal as soon as they are available, and to the best of my knowledge it's never majorly impacted myself or other people in my sphere for large events. You can generally pick up the cards you need by reaching out to your locals on people openning them at pre-release or you can contact the vendors who will be at the event to pick up the cards you need.

If it makes Azul feel better, I've never heard of this Pokémon until today.

Honestly, it isn't hard to go to Rio, but it is expensive because it's summer right now. There is definitely demand for more spots tho.

In DragonBall the set I believe is also legal on their release date . I could be wrong cus I don't remember but I'm almost sure it is. Also... Yeah... People do that where they buy booster boxes just before the event. I know people who personally do that exactly

Is this list for what the popularity of decks will be or their strength to win and be successful?

I will say as someone who plays competitively but also enjoys pack opening (especially with the bros at the locals), the current high demand for Prismatic evolutions ETBs and that they are going for $130-$250 an ETB is very disappointing. I totally agree with Azul that the crypto bros made buying product very toxic. I refuse to spend more than $50 for a collector set ETB. Plus where I live in western NC it can take upwards of 2-4 weeks for me to get cards I order off tcg player, so I try to buy local as much as possible. But even with surging sparks all the products got bought and none of the local tcg shops had any bulk to look through to get the playable cards. Just feels like even as a player it’s annoying to deal with the collectible side of Pokemon tcg. And I feel like by the time I get the staples (between buying online, trading with people and by chance finding a shop with bulk playable cards) a new set is about to come out and change the format again. Idk maybe it’s a me problem but I feel like I’m always a little behind with getting my staple cards.

I think it's fine if anybody gets a happy meal, I've sometimes grabbed one when there's a toy selection i think it's interesting. They just need to put a hard cap on how many can be purchased in one order As someone who really enjoys Miraidon, I have to say the meta feels very hostile towards it. I hope post rotation it can come into a better place

Also we get a week of knowledge of the whole set and a prerelease weekend and most major events on release weekend are sealed so everyone is playing with only the new cards

The problem you face with these match results being submitted is that they are all done on an app and not on a website that has a tendency to crash when ever parrings are up because they aren't equipped with the bandwith to support that many users flooding the site. I've been to 5 regionals here recentlty and find that to be a bit frustrating when I can't even refresh the site because it's being bogged down with traffic. As for the App, bandai plus for example has been using the app for a bout a year and a half almost two here in the states and it started off buggy and then got better over time. Tpci should go down that route and not cheap out on letting RK9 do it. With just the tap of a button players are able to do it within the app without having to worry about uploading a site on the internet and just go on with there day.

21:45 No, this generation will most likely not end this year. When looking at announced games and what kind of games that has not been announced, this generation will probably last 4 years. Legends Zygarde seem to come out this fall. That means no generation 10 game this year, most likely.
