winning a city league only gets you priority into japan nationals at the end of the year not champions league they have a seperate crazy tournament where you have to get 7 wins out of 8 rounds to get priority entry into tokyo, and a similar tournament for the next champions league where you have to get 7 wins in single elimination

I took your advice Chip and took Raging Bolt with a Fluttermane to a league cup and won. Mainly because nobody was prepared for the Iron Thorns Match up except for me.

I think a good middle ground would be a mix of the two. A booster box could include a separate sealed pack of say, 1 of each copy in a given set and then a number of randomized packs to get to the number of cards you’d want to include. The only thing I’m not sure is how to make a product like that on something like the game crafter.

If you guys want the registration process to change, you need to stop attending these tournaments until they take responsibility. They are taking advantage of the community, knowing people will volunteer to put out this information without pay.

Side note: Thoughts on a Lt. Surge’s Playbook ace spec item? Playing LSS to get 2 additional supporters in a turn was strong enough. How much stronger would it be on an item? Also: Does TPC have the audacity to print a Lysandre’s Trump Card style ace spec? Now that they are using the text “cannot be added to hand or shuffled into deck” it could be more manageable, though likely still too strong. Thoughts?

I RT the video you did to create awareness so people can be more vigilant when playing against Eder, not because I expect Pokemon to do anything about it. If you had to play against him as often as I do and the stress that brings knowing he's such a cheater, you wouldn't find it funny Azul. Pretty disappointing to hear you say that and to be so meh about the cheating.

It is terrible for the game that "gentlemen's" agreements are now optimal under the new structure. First, board state agreements will very often result in disagreements, conflict, or coercion. It's very toxic and uncomfortable for people who don't like conflict. Second, it's an unwritten norm that newer or more casual players won't understand completely--how is a casual player supposed to advocate for board state in game 3 against an aggressive, sweaty grinder who goes to 12 majors a year? Coercion will become a problem his year. Third, many players are not "gentleman"--they are offering agreements that they will never uphold if it doesn't favor them in the end. Stories of people backing out of gentlemen's agreements are going to skyrocket this season at this rate.
