As someone who is not an artist, I view AI as a perfectly valid tool for people to use to produce new depictions of creative ideas. If the product is good, why not use it?
@@xcyphsThat's reasonable, but to the extent it's true, there is no worry of it displacing real artists since the product is worse, and copyright infringement applies equally if it is too similar. (Which doesn't seem necessarily more than any other artist iterating on past experiences or other depictions of the same subject).

because its not your own style or ability and the A.I directly takes "inspiration" and effectively steals from real artists.
well the issue is most of them aren't good, and use stolen art. you can't just have AI learn off others work, type in a prompt, and call it yours.
