Our caravan has got a solar panel but this time of year it has little charging effect. Last year there was an old battery in the caravan, that was there when we bought the caravan. Come last springtime, the battery was knackered and the solar charger wasn't even flashing. I replaced the battery with a large liesure battery from home, that i keep charged up fastidiously at home, which made the caravan operational again. i have Just been to the storage yard and found the battery on around 11 volts, even though the solar panel was still flashing. Obviously the output at this time of year from the solar panel is hardly anything and it would knacker any battery over time whilst depleted. I have removed the battery and brought it home to trickle charge it and keep it charged at home. It is taking a charge, so i think I have caught this battery just in time. I intend now to just remove the battery and keep it charged at home now, every year, over November, December, January and February and put it in the caravan, only when we intend to use the caravan. Have you got any experience of this. I know you don't store your caravan though and you live further south than I do in the North East ?

After sampling going across the channel twice this year we’ll never have a long holiday in the uk again. It’s easier to just say everything across the channel is much better. A week in Cornwall in the summer we were quoted upwards of £1000. 15 days in France with ferry and a site on the med coast less than £700. Christmas 7 nights in Scotland over £1000 10 days in Belgium with ferry just less than £400.

Bought our Kampa Awning there, its a brilliant store and very handy for us as we live just south of Norwich. Great service, great advice and great prices. Many years ago they were based in Norwich but outgrew their location and moved to this current location which is huge. Highly recommended.

Hi Dave and Helen, a plug for the 'Avtex' WiFi system that you showed, I had that system fitted to my van when I bought it this year, it's an outstanding unit, you can hook up to 10 devices at once, and it costs £18 a month unlimited data, next you showed the 'Cadac' well that's my Xmas present from the long haired general and the rugrats this year. Yes, lucky to have this on our doorstep, we have taken advantage of the price promise in the past on a few items at Norwich Camping. Also had Isabella Magnum and Vango awnings as well as garden furniture, being local, a great delivery service too. Not much you will be unable to find there, that’s for sure. The Butcher’s produce in the Farm shop is also very good.

We have visited several times, great place. The food is excellent the camping choice is wide and they are very good on pricing and deals for equipment. Top place.

Pity i dont live closer looks a amazing store👍 Not sure why everyone loves Cadac’s i have owned to in the last 15 years loved the first original one it stood a a folding tripod stand could have it set up in minutes the only negative with it was it hated any type of breeze, the latest one i have takes ages to set up i had to buy a separate bag just to store the legs it still hates a breeze but the other problem we have encountered is the none stick didn’t last two minutes I contacted Cadac but they didn’t want to know😩
