Hi Paul & Joanne, that lobster was tasty but the Cromer crab might have been more palatable as they cost around £10-£15, quite a significant saving. South Lytchett was great! Didn’t see the brewery on site though. Check in next week and stay safe. Helen & Dave 👍

Barbs, it's lovely at Puddleduck, we love it there. If you're worried about buying, see if you can get an independent surveyor to have a look once you have found one you like. You need to make sure you have a full service history and also damp survey too. A mobile service engineer mat be worth asking to look for you for a small fee.

That’s a shame, we’ve been to this site 2 or 3 times now, although not since June 2021. We returned to the site for the exact opposite reasons you have described. We got a warm welcome, chatted with other campers and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere there. Not sure if the site has changed hands since we were last there but it’s disappointing to hear of your experience. Thanks for sharing. Helen & Dave

There’s no need for rudeness at all and I think they should have enquired as to what was wrong and offered a time to either call you or for you to call back. I would drop an email to them!! Well I then drove back to wells and had another go at putting it back in and after about an hour I eventually got it back in. Sorry what had happened was that I had pushed a bit too hard when opening one of the small windows in the front of my Swift and when I pushed the window open to far it came out of the small hinge channel that the window locates in. So be careful not to push too much on the window because it will come out. Lesson learned. All Good Now. We have decided that Wells is a wonderful place. Thanks Dave

I’m no expert but I’ve read this online which should give you an idea. ‘To calculate the wattage required, you can multiply the wattage rating of your microwave oven by 1.5. So, for example, if your microwave oven has a wattage rating of 1000 watts, you'll need a generator that can produce at least 1500 watts’
