A lovely area and thanks for the reminder vlog. We stumbled across Corfe Castle many years ago traveling around in our campervan and Swanage Folk festival at beginning September is a brilliant time to visit.
Great vlog again Dave and Helen. We visited the site in May for a week and on Day 1 thought we would not like it as it was a very large site but Day 2 we loved it and have booked again for next year. Take care both xx

Sandra and I will be there staying in Ulwell cottage caravan park and taking my mum for a few days too and having a contemplation moment whilst we are there scattering some of dad's ashes.. Glad you enjoyed the stay in Dorset. A ggod trip ts the us to Swanage, then change to the open top bus to Bournemouth , across the chain ferry to Sandbanks the a coffee . Another bus to Poole bus atation and back to Lytchett Manor. All on a bus pass. Very good value. The site is rally superb!

Hi Rob & Gail, we didn’t get to Brownsea Island but watched a video on it and it looks great. Lots of brown Red squirrels and deer and it has a camp site too. Same, zip wire looked great. Hi Helen and Dave hope you are both keeping well sorry been quiet on here been to Cornwall on holiday with Victoria and the boys for two weeks been a lovely break despite weather being changeable Looks a fantastic site and so clean and great to see a well stocked shop and lots of facilities! Love Dorset it is one of my favourite counties it’s got so many lovely spots my favourites being corfe and corfe castle west bay Weymouth lulworth cove and sandbanks If you go again it’s well worth going over to brownsea island and also to Kingston lacy a lovely stately home over by wareham it’s beautiful and the grounds as well Love sitting on the prom in sandbanks and Poole watching the world go by! When you go over from sandbanks to studland on ferry do a right just after you leave the ferry terminal or left coming from corfe castle direction and there is a NT car park and the most amazing beach called shell bay it’s my favourite place in the world! The needles type rocks are the old harry rocks you can walk to them from studland looks like you had amazing weather and an even better week all the best to you all Daniel

The pitch price seems reasonable. £13.50 to park wow that is expensive 😮. Lovely in sandbanks, though. Paying to walk down the pier 🙄, not the cost, the principle. Couldn't believe some of the parking charges and yes, the pair fee was more about principle than the price but perhaps they do it stop it getting over crowded because it was so busy. If you dont have a caravan a fantadtic place to stay or have lunch is the RNLI college. Rooms and the restaurant have amazing views over Poole Harbour.

I love the yurts, amazing and simple structure, but warm and comfy... Dorset is a glorious county. Men are so clean, we don't usually have flowers, unlike those dirty smelly ladies where flowers are a must hahahaha!!!!!!! Bournemouth is always busy, one of the best beaches in the world. Sandbanks I always found a drab miserable place, people hiding behind walls and huge gates in the overpriced houses with no space, actually a foot between neighbours in places, can't even get out of your gate due to rows of cars constantly polluting the air whilst waiting for a ferry, then the rip off stein and his rubbish food....!!!!! There are some incredible little villages dotted about Dorset, well worth an explore. Be well both x
Bry, we are on the same page as you. If we had enough money to buy one of those houses, I would rather buy several for members of the family that are struggling to get a house. You're right, it's lovely in Dorset and we can see now why you were attracted to the place so much. Hi Barbs, thank you. Lovely place nice houses but not where you would want to live. The traffic was too much for me all boarding or leaving the ferry. Great beaches though and the campsite was lovely too. Cheers, Helen & Dave
I love the yurts, amazing and simple structure, but warm and comfy... Dorset is a glorious county. Men are so clean, we don't usually have flowers, unlike those dirty smelly ladies where flowers are a must hahahaha!!!!!!! Bournemouth is always busy, one of the best beaches in the world. Sandbanks I always found a drab miserable place, people hiding behind walls and huge gates in the overpriced houses with no space, actually a foot between neighbours in places, can't even get out of your gate due to rows of cars constantly polluting the air whilst waiting for a ferry, then the rip off stein and his rubbish food....!!!!! There are some incredible little villages dotted about Dorset, well worth an explore. Be well both x
Bry, we are on the same page as you. If we had enough money to buy one of those houses, I would rather buy several for members of the family that are struggling to get a house. You're right, it's lovely in Dorset and we can see now why you were attracted to the place so much. Payment for Bournemouth Pier gives you access for the year providing that you keep and show your ticket each time which for £1.65 isn't bad value 😊
No that’s not bad value. It was more the principle of paying to walk down the pier. No charges in Norfolk and Suffolk (yet) 😂👍
