I use it as a monitor. Only downside for me is having to use the remote to turn it on and off instead of using Windows sleep.

Wow peak brightness is worse than the LG B4 tv even when the B4 is in game mode. This monitor is not worth the price at all

Its sad that dell costs the same as the asus in EU and other 3th world countries. I was opting for the dell but since costing the same 300$, i got the XG27 instead which i **quickly regretted due to the 2 stuck pixels and both shop and asus refusing to replace it**. My friend also bought this monitor and also come across multiple stuck pixels.. Besides those mildly annoying problems, it really is a great monitor. Bought in turkey.

Got the HP omen 27inch 1440p 240hz at 270 plus tax. After 2 days something weird on the screen with digital noise and lines that covered the entire screen. Plan to return it and currently got the Samsung Odessa G5 34 inch 165hz at 215 plus tax

hey, I just wanna say that your review and the comments that it solicited really helped me in buying decision. I was literally in the store comparing these monitors. I went with the Alienware based on my experience, your video, and really the comments of people expressing how happy they were. I love my new monitor so far I'm 30 minutes of gameplay in, but it's amazing.

I had to return my G8 because i was unhappy with the brightness level, it was wayyy too low for me and im surprised other people have not noted, the picture quality was very good but the anti glare and low brightness was not good enough for me, i prefer glossy fully bright OLED

the only thing I don't like about this is the 'gaming' stand and design. I wish they would use refreshed version of their really good ergo stand and minimalistic design, so it doesn't take so much space on the desk. Hopefully ultra fine 4k, >= 144hz, usb-c, oled version coming soon. This is what I just need for daily use and work. No fancy rgb and other stuff im not going to ever use.

The dell monitor has a psu installed in the monitor, what if it breaks??? The dell hat a fan in the monitor to cool the components, what if the fan breaks, means more noise or hotter components reducing the life span. The BIG disadvantages in my opinion!!!

I bought the AOC Q27G3XMN, it is absolutely amazing. I think the red tint people have is from it being default at "warm", I changed it to normal and white has no red tint. Viewing angles are great, HDR looks amazing and is very bright, local dimming is decent, Strong is too much and causes black crush. Smearing is also barely noticable, I also don't see any vrr flicker.

Cant use as a computer monitor if it has dirty gray issue as itvis an woled. Had 2 1440p 240hz woleds and both of them got returned because it was impossible to is dark mode as the gray/dark shades displayed so much artefacts/lines running horizontal across tge darker shades.

I still think the Samsung one is the winner... I tried glossy Alienware but returned it as the reflections were super annoying. The Asus is very similar to all the other glossy panels so it's a fair comparison.

Had both the AW3423DWF and AW2725DF, both hurt my eyes and weren't the best given my lighting conditions. This is by far the next best option.

the 42" don't have the EVO panel which is brighter. why? and it happens again like in C2 + C3. who makes these terrible decisions? Samsung and Sony do the same nonsense. Samsung S90C is QD-Oled. the 43" size is not. *what???* SDR brightness 6.4? and they want to market this for PC gamer where most people have their PC in a lit area and not in a basement with 0 lights? ? i wanted to get a TV for bigger size but not big like 55" or 65" cause it's too big, but as it seems i'll buy a OLED monitor. the TV's brightness is not good for PC gaming. i choose the smaller size and brighter over the bigger size and darker. 3rd gen and still can't get it right for PC gaming. maybe in 10th gen they will. until then i'm buying an OLED monitor.

i watched some youtuber, some of them said PG32UCDP monitor is matte, another one is glossy and also this youtube, so this moniter is matte or glossy, i'm so confused guys

I got a C2 and a C4 as monitors. And their text is crystal clear. Gaming on them is a dream.

Crazy how the LG C1 has way better HDR brightness. Just wish there was a QD Oled monitor that would push at least 1000 nits
