5:18 this is NOT a semi gloss monitor, this is a light matte coating, please fix this sort of misinformation. LG seems upset that Samsung is taking all their thunder with OLED, maybe if LG cares and wants their products to sell they would stop putting these awful cheap matte coatings on OLED and spend the money like samsung does and put a proper Glossy coating like they do with all QD-OLED
Every time I see "OLED" and "27" in the monitor name I hope my prayers were answered and it's 27 inch 4k monitor... But every time I'm disappointed. I don't need 31 inch, I just want more PPI PLEASE!
Get an LG C3 or C4 tv. I have the LG C3 and it’s seriously the best. I use it both for my pc and my xbox series X. Plus it’s a great tv just in its own right for Netflix and stuff like that.
You should be ok. I have been using an OLED tv (LG C3) for about a year now. leave the monitor on for days at a time and aside from removing desktop icons and my taskbar, I don’t really take proper steps to avoid burn in. I use it ALOT. as far as I can tell I have no burn in at all so far. Most companies offer 2-3 years or burn in protection coverage as well.
I've had it for about 2 months. Sometimes a pixel cleaning warning appears during the day. It lasts 5 minutes and continues. I haven't had any problems so far, but there are some software problems. There should definitely be an update.
Personally I prefer WOLED because of deeper blacks. A lot of games and gamers prefer the look of oversaturated. Apex, Rocket League to mention some that have and want oversatured colors to look the best. Read Dead Redemption 2 is a game that looks best with more natural colors. Also, the QD OLED have higher perceived brightness (nits) then WOLED despite having lower numbers. Look up TFT central article: "Exploring OLED Brightness - Improvements, WOLED vs QD-OLED and the Need for New Metrics and Specs"
High color volume does not mean oversaturation. Oversaturation occurs when color gamut coverage exceeds 100% in any R G or B direction, this is why monitor calibrated to P3 would look severely oversaturated on sRGB colorspace and vice versa sRGB calibrated panel would look washed out in P3 content without tonemapping. Perfect color volume should simply output real color value from video stream no matter how bright pixel gets.
Sorry, but this is hands down the best esports gaming monitor on the market. I have has an absolute flawless experience with my copy and have tried the likes of MSI, Gigabyte and LGs version of the 2K 360Hz QD-OLED panels and this smokes it.
@@Avexic real good ones are coming out next year after CES 2025, everything atm has its cons, specially with dp 1.4 and dsc, even the m10s that claims to have dp2.1 is still fake dp2.1 cuz it uses the lowest tier instead of full dp 2.1. and this one was software and setting reset issue, with 5s blackscreens on alt tab because of dsc on dp 1.4, if u dont mind that then this is a good product. but new ones will be full spec at a higher brightness and color coverage
Thanks Nicholas - can you do a quick round up vs the Sony Inzone vs LG for a final recommendation?!
Thanks for the review, if ASUS read this, fix the software!!!, more firmware updates. This monitor costs 1000 dollarinos!
What’s wrong with it exactly?
benq zowie cost more and its TN and 360hz ips cost more what is ur point ?
@@MakeSh00tlmao the 540hz benq smokes this, same price.
@@Mildlink zowie doesn't even come close to the same motion clarity, you can't even compare LED pixels to OLED pixels in terms of response time

Tv
Dont buy a monitor 😭😭😭
Monitor: 27 inch 1440p $1000
TV: 48 inch 2160p $1000
Your ps5 at 4k still wont max out the frame rate of the slower TV.
@@NATESUCKSATGAMING I only play fps shooter games though. So really I just care about the fastest response time and input.
Im scared if its gonna burn in, cuz i play almost 16hours everyday
You should give up now and go back to school
It won't. Not an issue worth worrying about

What purpose for you need even more vivid colours than WOLED has? They are already hugely oversaturated for the normal eye.
