nice one. I was considering this. but I think it does not make sense to do it under different names unless you start getting some bigger exposure. When you are unknown, it does not matter if it is only one name or multiple. You can start to be more considerate as soon as things are changing and you understand that keeping things under one name is starting to feel bad for marketing, I guess, it is possible to move some tracks from your "all in one" name to a new "side" name later.

Thanks for the video and message. By the way regarding the speaker pushed in dome. Work great some power tape or something sticky to pull that out. As well warming it up with a hairdryer is working all the time.

so it seems like as of 2025 the free plan only gives you 1 hour of uploads, the plus plan gives you 3 hours, and the pro plan gives you unlimited uploads. Obviously for someone just starting out its going to take some time before you have 3 hours worth of content depending on what you make, but it seems like they've pretty much rigged the system to force you to buy the pro plan eventually.

My only issue is the lack of support -its non-existent, You supposedly are paying for priority support with a pro account, but two weeks and no answers, no human response. Very frustrating experience. I will not release my next track with them.

Thank you and they are so picky. They want your music to sound like it came out of a 100 thousand dollar . Big name production company studio. That's impossible for an independent artist. I've thinking about getting out of the music streaming. It's a huge headache. Either get out of it or use AI to make my recordings .

You didn’t say how much ram this m1 ?

I'm still running iMac 5k with 4790K and 32GB of memory. I can't decide whether to get the Mac Mini with M4 Pro and 64GB of memory or go with equally priced PC (close to 3k€). My iMac has been crashing a lot and I feel like that would continue in the Mac Mini as well since Apple did nothing to fix the problems with samba shares and USB disks. Without those it's stable, but semi-useless. An extreme example: in PhasePlant I have patches that the 4790K can play one note at a time, anything more and the CPU goes over 100%. If the new Mac would be three times as fast, that's still only three notes. Getting a 16-32 core PC is still an option, especially with way cheaper SSD's and memory. I'd skip the NVIDIA or AMD graphics card altogether as I suppose Ableton Live does not use it anyway and I have another computer for playing games.

I think it would be fair to match the sample rates between the sessions as well. The M1 runs at 48kHz while the M4 runs at 44.1kHz-which could be considered a slight advantage. Nice comparison video though. Keep up the good work ;)

Interesting - i think what this showed, as you say, is for most peoples 'real world' usage, M1 is a perfectly useable machine. Only when pushing into multiple hundred tracks the M4 becomes vital but I doubt folk who are producing those track counts would be buying the base spec mac mini anyway. Really Like your summary about gear being just tools and creativity is key....sometimes limitations can stimulate creativity - the memory limit in old samplers were testament to that.

thats a great video man but soundcloud for artists has now a slightly different feel with other windows. I cant get any further with profile mapping its asking me for an artists link or select matching profile. ive been trying for over 6 months to release songs and still cannot get any further it just dont wanna work

Yo sup. I distribute my music via soundcloud next pro. How do I claim my Spotify Artis Account? My request over the spotify for artist page gets rejected every time. They want a page with my email and my name. Both is in my soundcloud, wich i link every time. Pls help
