Which I have no idea what it means... :/ And 20% cut with a yearly All life payment is quite a lot.. I think OneRpm take 15% and there is no annually subscription payment to keep your music live (mite missed the small letters somewhere thought) Anyways opened my eyes to this, trying to choose a distributor these days and as you said, its very frustrating and confusing Thank you :)

I use repost too. All around good cause I love soundcloud. I only have 2 issues with them. One is the 20% tax. Since I'm already paying for unlimited I shouldn't be taxed, its unnecessary. Two is that whenever I release a single it takes 2 weeks for the song to appear on instagram and facebooks platforms/engines so from a promoting standpoint it sucks.

You just have to have a normal Soundcloud account and the person who distributes the music has to setup the split and send an invite to your soundcloud account, then you'll accept it and be good to go!

But if you want to remove a track then the shit starts.. You have to send an email to remove a track from the streaming service.....Bad experience. Check the system there's no button for removal or replace your track....So the system sucks try to find the email adress...
Yes, they'll take it down. They don't specify how long it takes for them to actually do it, but at some point they will. You can transfer your release to another distributor, and if done correctly the song will keep all the plays and everything.

Hey Adam! With Soundcloud Pro you can only monetize your soundcloud songs through Repost. In order to monetize directly through soundcloud you have to apply for SoundCloud Premier. Yes, they reserve the right to remove your music once you end your subscription. My recommendation would be to migrate it to one of the free distributors like Routenote before letting your subscription expire.
they don't have a separate signup for labels, so if you're using Repost as a label you just sign up as normal and enter your label's name under each artist that you release

So if you can send your songs to Spotify through Repost and Apple Music through Distrokid for example. SoundCloud is still separate to Repost for the most part, but you can sign up for Repost to monetize your Soundcloud music.
I'm not sure if they'll be immediately removed, but they'll be removed at some point. I'd recommend transferring everything over to Amuse or one of the other free distributors prior to ending your subscription.
on Ditto you have to pay for every additional artist vs unlimited artist on Repost. With Ditto you get your music on more stores and you can setup a Vevo RUclips channel and promotional campaigns through them for additional fees. Also lots of other hidden fees. Payout threshold is $25 vs $5 for Repost. Ditto you keep 100% or royalties vs 80% for Repost. And finally, Ditto is known to have poor customer service. There's no perfect music distributor, so go with the one that works the best for you!

It does not. I emailed RUclips about that and they said you need be in the RUclips Partner Program (YPP) to merge your topic channel to your RUclips channel, which will then verify it I think. Meaning you need least 1,000 subs and a few additional requirements to qualify.

what you do is get your Isrc codes for each song. make sure your metadata stays the same and upload to new a distributor. You would have to request for a takedown.
yeah, just gotta make a business and figure out how to do it! There's some distribution company that are super small-even Distrokid was just one dude for awhile. So it can't be too difficult to make one.

REPOST allows you to upload music too? If so, is just limited to 3 hours? It doesn‘t say anything in the description of Repost advantages.

It might not be deleted immediately, but according to their Terms of Service they will delete it at some point.

But if you try to find yourself in all those exotic straming services it will turns out, you exist there as an artist, but there is not a single track of yours there. Just use VPN and do your own research. I even contacted them about this, but the answer was like "wecan't guarantee". But well... in the offer, they arte saying it's included in price... so I'm little bit confused. It would be grateful If you would let me know if you have the same issue. I don't really care so much about it, but well... confusion remains ;p
If someone can tell me, what happens if you want to switch distributors? Will my music be deleted from platforms and I will need to reupload them with my new distributor?
what you do is get your Isrc codes for each song. make sure your metadata stays the same and upload to new a distributor. You would have to request for a takedown.

it means they reposted your song on their account for promotion purposes

yeah, just gotta make a business and figure out how to do it! There's some distribution company that are super small-even Distrokid was just one dude for awhile. So it can't be too difficult to make one.
