So my saw couldn’t stop from going all the way down. My solution to that was to draw a line across from the 1 inch depth and slowly make cuts.

Perfect timing! I’m an independent contractor and make really good money but I’m done. Told my big customer yesterday I’m retiring at the end of February. I like what I do but I will be 63 in March and I just can’t work all day and then come home and work until 9:00, get up at 5:20 and do it all over again like I could 10 years ago. I am so looking forward to being creative and building the projects I’ve been saving on my phone for the last few years but have not had the energy to do.

Can we get the same result with just a miter saw with bevel and a plunge router with template to make the holder ? And a sander ofcourse 🙂

a tray heavy and uncomfortable, I can see cups slip around and off the board, with so many unnecessary passages that it's making me dizzy (unless it's reclaimed wood, but then again I still would have better uses for it than... trays?). and people buy it, you say *facepalm* millennials would buy ice at the north pole...

Don’t have time or space for doing it myself although I’d love to. But I made a design for my friend and he was happy with the results. Cant wait to buy a nice house after years of saving in the studio apartment. Share some home renovation posts maybe haha
