Have you considered shortinging the rack to fit an average sized pantry door. I believe they were 12" wide. Just a suggestion.

Hey Ronnie. Just have to ask because I'm pretty big on safety and I'm also cheap and know I can get 1x4s out of 2 2x4s if I rip it down the middle there like you just did. But the one other time I seen someone do that online the comments were pretty critical of the safety of it. What I'm getting at is do you do this often? Have you had any issues with it? I always use a push stick and I use one of the featherboards with the foam teeth on it so I feel comfortable with a lot of things on the table saw and use it mostly to resaw larger boards. Anyway glad to see you do that in a video, just wondering what your experience with that has been.

I don't normally do it that way and wouldn't recommend it unless someone is comfortable with that technique. I'd stick with a 1x4.

I resaw a lot on the tablesaw. I use a riving knife which helps. I also use a featherboard and push sticks.

@@myhoneyshandmade1077 thanks man. As do I. I use the FeatherPro from Bow. I'm in Canada, I don't know about the states but our 2" boards are basically the same price as our 1" boards. I have a hard time buying the 1" when I know I can resaw the 2" and basically get two boards for the price of one.

@@jerry4249 definitely. I have been wanting to make some custom fearherboards for taller resaw jobs and for my router table. Might make a video about it.

@@myhoneyshandmade1077 man I suggest looking into the bow feather board. You can get a pack where there's two and they'll stack. The fingers on it are foam and absorb impact of it is kicked back. I use mine on a job site DeWalt table saw but all I had to do was cut one of the teeth off of it to make it fit. I'll check out your channel.
