I love the 0² battle theme. Something about it just hits, probably because it manages to feel both uneasy and sad. This is such a unique version of this, too. It really adds to that foreboding and dark feeling. Awesome job, and cool idea to arrange this for a jazz combo! I really liked the solos.

I love the atmosphere of this arrangement, it's so cool! This is one of those DKC pieces that I didn't fully appreciate until now, but it's so nostalgic.

Love love loooove this game. And all Donkey Kong Country games tbh. The silhouette levels are so cool, and the OSTs always slap. Underwater levels are usually frustrating, but the DK series always makes the experience more enjoyable with chill music like this. I'm going to pretend that I didn't just read in your description that this game is 10 years old 😃👵. Awesome job on this arrangmenet, it's super accurate!
